Obsidian Posted August 3, 2017 That was swift. That aside though, this is a definite improvement: much less glitchiness and more thematic consistency. Keep at it and remember to look at the resources I recommended. :) 0 Share this post Link to post
axdoomer Posted August 3, 2017 (edited) At least this one doesn't segfault Chocolate-Doom. What map editor allows you to produce such maps without warning you of all the errors? (BTW, I love weird 1994-style levels, I'm not trying to be negative) 0 Share this post Link to post
Phade102 Posted August 3, 2017 good ol wolfenstein 3d textures. Do remember, @Awesome64 that not everyone is going to like new maps. They generally aren't the best quality people are used to. but remember to think of EVERY map you design as a learning experience. you learn new things, start to do things differently each time and before y ou know it bam, you're making art. 0 Share this post Link to post
Awesome64 Posted August 3, 2017 if people think this map is bad ,you should have seen my scraped levels 0 Share this post Link to post
Misty Posted August 3, 2017 My scrapped wads take 1,50 gb of space now and counting. Here will be a lot of scrapped stuff until you make something decent and fun. 3 Share this post Link to post
axdoomer Posted August 4, 2017 (edited) You should try modeling real things first, like a public library, a school or your house to get used to detailing things. When you do this, there's a minimal amount of detailing that you have to do to make things look real rather than abstract. Do it as close as possible in Doom and choose appropriate textures. 1 Share this post Link to post
