Do you collect anything?

I started buying some Space Marine miniatures last year, but since I remodeled my room and no longer have enough space for a dedicated desk I haven't built or painted anything, as soon as I get enough space for it again I'll get back to it though, hopefully get some of those 8th edition Primarines.

I wanna do that too, mainly for the hobby aspect of the game. So far, I like Grey Knights, Legion of the Damned and I find some interest in Necrons, although I don't like Xenos that much.

 

Back to the topic:

I collect music CDs, PC games regardless of age, PCs (later in the future for that one to happen), old console games and a few consoles here and there (I think PC big box collecting has more interesting items inside the box, compared to console fragile cardboard boxes).

Photos from places, presents, band t-shirts and books. I would collect my favorite cd's from bands, but sadly it's easier to buy here drugs in my country than my favorite band cd.

I used to collect videogame consoles, but not anymore.  It wasn't anything too serious, but I was quite happy with my NeoGeo AES and TurboGrafx-16.  What remains of my collection are my Sega Genesis model 1, Sega Saturn, PS2, Dreamcast, original GameBoy, Atari Jaguar, Game Gear, NeoGeo Pocket Color, NES, SNES, N64, and the trusty old Atari 7800.  Also an Atari 400 and TI-99/4a if you want to count those as consoles instead of computers.

 

These days I don't collect much, save for a small number of Warhammer 40K figures, and some rocks and gemstones.  What I would like to start collecting are all the different tarot card sets out there, but finances say otherwise.

Also not so much for a collection, but I'd really like to get my hands on original Doom 1 and 2 retail copies preferably in floppy disks, anyone know a good place I could find some?

I collect interesting decks of playing cards. Mostly of the French-traditional deck of 52 variety, but I do also own a set of Mahjong cards (148 "tile" cards, a handful of "money" cards, and some dice) and a deck of Fournier Spanish cards. At current counting, I own 124 packs (the number of decks is likely larger, since some packs contain more than one), so I'm able to grab one at random and deal out a unique game of solitaire, whenever I want.

 

I own so many cards that, at the start of this year, I started a project to review/profile the more interesting ones, along with musings about solitaire and card-playing in general. If you guys don't mind a bit of shameless self-promotion, have a look at the blog, Turn of a Friendly Card. I also have a spreadsheet of my inventory, with cross-reference links to Friendly Card posts that review those decks.

I have an old Windows XP machine I use to collect nostalgic titles from my past even if it's not quite the same as the original (uses Steam or something) or is barely playable compared to a superior port that won't run on it.

 

Oh yeah and i had a phase where I'd buy PS1 games but that meant going outside so I don't do it too often.

i've collected lots of random junk that have been sort of like phases. one thing i did was collect several kinds of soda bottles with unique labels on them, but i got rid of them because they took up space, only saving a limited edition pepsi max bottle.

 

what i do collect now, and have been for several years now, is music. not really digital files (though i do have those as well), but music CDs, and some vinyls and tapes when i'm able to find any good ones. it's grown to such a state that i barely have anymore room to put them in here. so as to not litter this place with photos, i'm just going to mention that what i have in this picture is only a fraction of the CDs i own, and it doesn't even show the vinyls and tapes i have!

yugioh is unisex,thats why ;P,my collection must be somewhere in my house or i threw it in the trash,i stopped years ago and i din't collect them for having them,i collected them to win!

You mean that's your deck, right? I quit playing quite a long time ago, so I just collect some cards that I'm interested in.

Well besides my deck i got a bunch of other cards.I never quit go,everyone else i knew did :( nowadays i just play yugioh duel links on my phone and sometimes tag force 4.

Currently not but if something catches my attention, it can become my number 1 addiction. So my collections from the past are:

- Flags drawn by me

- Subway cards

- Kinder toys
