Doom 4 for Doom mods.

Since Doom 4/2016 came out in well 2016 many modders started working on mods that try to replicate the artstyle and gameplay of the new doom game,the first i heard of was "D4D" which i really liked untill version 2 came along and i felt like it wasn't as fun as it used to.Now,wanting to come back to those kinds of mods i ask you if you could tell me the different kinds of "doom 4 mods" and wich are the best of the best :)

Zion and Lazarus...Doom 4 Doom got too big for me and argent,while looking amazing is still too vanilla so i will just play Death Foretold.

Death Foretold is probably the most vanilla mod here, on the technical side.

There were quite a lot such mods released in the beginning, but the ones Voros mentioned are probably the biggest. 

 

There's been a few attempts at porting the maps too, eg. http://www.moddb.com/mods/doom-4-campaign-4-doom-2 or http://www.moddb.com/mods/doom-2016-classic-maps

There was a map pack distributed along D4D too, though that one seems to have dissappeard from the Internet. Even though the maps were unfinished, it's sadly missed I must say.

I was trying to do a similar thing last year! Lost interest quickly though. Good thing someone else did it.

D4T and Argent are the best ones, though if you want the best all-round mod, go for D4T.
