SLADE hear midi music

I want hear music on SLADE before I use but these music (MIDI) dont run! I dont want test music while on WAD demotest because it take some time. What should I do?

Download some MIDI soundfont and select path to it in SLADE3's Preferences -> Audio -> Location of MIDI soundfont.

Do you know any programm? I tried find in internet, but some are equivocal (not that, what I wanted). Link would helpful :/

Not a program, a soundfont. A file in .sf2 format that contains the definitions for how musical instruments should sound. Here is one. Different soundfonts will give you different sounds, some are better, some are worse. This one is good enough and small and you don't have to go to a sketchy site to download it.

I had downloaded it, moved on my desktop and connected with SLADE "Preferences -> Audio -> Location of MIDI soundfont.". MIDI run but cant hear it!!

Volume is full. I had special check music on youtube, also volume is on.

Press play twice. You don't need a soundfont.

I would also suggest using a soundfont from one of the source ports in particular so you can get a pretty accurate idea of what it would sound like in game. I have the soundfont for Gzdoom on me, at least the Android version, so I whenever i download a new midi I can hear how it would sound in the game. Though personally I would prefer to use mod files when and where I can, you can get way more musical variety that way since they come with their own sounds
