Alpha/Beta-like maps and mods

I find Doom's tech demos and the beta to be very nice, so i wonder if there are good maps or mod wich takes resources from those early builds ? I've already played Nihility: Infinite Teeth's shareware episode, and the hype for Doom: Evil Unleashed (forum.zdoom.org/viewtopic.php?f=19&t=29466) is still alive. Both projects are yet to be finished, though, and there must be good content that matches this style in one way or another, right ?

I know @nicolas monti(?) has made some alpha texture inspired mapsets but I can't quite make out the names of them.

Delta Doom is a really great gameplay mod that kind of takes all the prerelease stuff and makes something new out of it, but feels totally authentic and not hacked together at all. Definitely my favorite alpha-themed project.
