I dunno - Strive's backgrounds aren't as "warm" as 2D stuff, but they're decently detailed and mesh well with the gorgeous characters.

 

I wonder how many iterations of KoF XV we'll get before SNK realises what Arc Sys is up to and at least make their characters look that good...

I never found Last Blade 2 until years after its release, via emulation, but so many of those stages still stick with me.
