rabidrage Posted October 5, 2017 Alright, so I got myself the newest version of Slade because the one I had started to have problems. In this new one, when I click on sprite frames, it doesn't show me what they look like in the right-hand window. Is there a setting I'm supposed to change to fix that, or does it just have issues? Or should I reinstall? 0 Share this post Link to post
Gez Posted October 5, 2017 Please open the console window and paste its content, because if it fails to initialize OpenGL or fails to load the image or whatever, there should be error messages there. 0 Share this post Link to post

rabidrage Posted October 25, 2017 Still having an issue. Anybody...? I downloaded the latest stable release, because 3.0.1 started randomly crashing, and it's that release that won't show any sprites or textures in the right-hand pane. Why would that happen? 0 Share this post Link to post
Gez Posted October 26, 2017 I can't tell you. Here's an example of what I get in the console when I click on a graphic lump for the first time in a session: 16:51:12: Initialising OpenGL... 16:51:12: OpenGL Version: 3.1 16:51:12: Max Texture Size: 8192x8192 16:51:12: Checking extensions... 16:51:12: Vertex Buffer Objects supported 16:51:12: Point Sprites supported 16:51:12: Framebuffer Objects supported 0 Share this post Link to post
rabidrage Posted October 28, 2017 (edited) That's odd. What version are you using? Nevermind. Duh. It's right there. Hmm. My computer must be special. 0 Share this post Link to post
sirjuddington Posted October 30, 2017 Looks like this is the same issue as this. From what I can tell, SFML fails to create or activate the OpenGL context, so OpenGL doesn't get initialised and you don't see the console log messages. No idea why it wouldn't be working, either an SFML issue or a driver issue. 0 Share this post Link to post
