[WIP] Hunter's Moon V2.9.2 (Q3 TC on Doom)

Welcome to The Temple Of The Portals, prepare to fight hordes of giant monstrosities of hell for the control of the multiverse, Hunter's Moon is a mod for Zandronum and GZDoom that consists in bring the single-player/cooperative campaign that Quake III Arena never had, the story continues a very, very long time after the Vadrigars and the Eternal Arenas taking the warriors out of the arenas' endless battles to fight for the control of what have locked them there, The Temple Of The Portals is the place where everything connects, it is the universe between the universes, it is a source of unlimited and unimaginable power that even gods wants control it.

You can play with each character that Quake III Arena have, this includes the additional characters from the Team Arena Expansion and even an extra character from Unreal Tournament 3 as well Doomslayer from DOOM (2016), currently theres a total of 29 playable characters:

The weaponry of Hunter's Moon goes beyond the regular found in Quake III Arena, mostly to gives more options on how to kill enemies and provide better damage on them:
    Machine Gun (Quake III Arena)
    Heavy Machine Gun (Quake Live)
    Shotgun (Quake III Arena)
    Cynetik Striker Cannon (New from scratch, model is originally Vorus Plasma Arc from Alien Rage)
    Grenade Launcher (Quake III Arena)
    Rocket Launcher (Quake III Arena)
    Lightning Gun (Quake III Arena)
    Trakion Cannon (New from scratch, model is originally Flak Cannon from Unreal Tournament 3)
    Railgun (Quake III Arena)
    Plasma Gun (Quake III Arena)
    BFG10k (Quake III Arena)
    Dark Matter Gun (Quake 4)
    Chaingun (Quake III Team Arena)
    Nailgun (Quake III Team Arena)

Major Changes:

*Added Doomslayer's Special Ability, Berserk
*Reworked Zanieon completely with a menu option of the player choose assume control while in a coop match (the AI in coop was always pretty dumb)
*Replaced Doom 3 Cacodemon with DOOM 2016 variant
*Refactored all scripts into named scripts to increase compatibility with maps that uses numbered scripts
*Monsters will attempt to aim at player's hitbox center now instead of always the 32 units above the base
*Tanking-role characters now recieves 20% less damage from Cyberdemon and Asmodeus

 

Bugfixes and Minor Changes:

*Added a dummy player pawn to use as replacement for voodoo dolls when patching a wad to work properly with the mod and not confusing player start spots
*Tyzen's Strike no longer pushes away enemies and allies
*Increased Cacodemon's health from 400 to 750, Mass from 300 to 500 and bite damage from random(6,10) to random(10,20)
*Fixed Dark Matter Gun instakilling monsters with high mass
*Fixed mod's additional menus not appearing in recent versions of GZDoom
*Fixed some monsters giving medals for damage types not meant for that (Special Abilities is not meant to recharge with its own kills like Weapon Ultimates)
+Fixed Zanieon's Multi-Elemental Ball Attack being able to damage players and vehicles
*Cyberdemon and Asmodeus will attempt to aim their projectiles at player's hitbox base
*Tyzen Strike Ability now only uses its charge after successfully execute the blow
*Lowered the texture resolution of certain models for better loading performance and VRAM usage
*Lowered Tyzen's AttackZOffset from 60 to 58


Stuff reduced/removed:

*Removed traces of Dark Railgun in language lumps
*Reduced Asmodeus and Cyberdemon corpse fade out from 20 seconds to 3 seconds

Add-ons:

Total Sonic Mayhem Music Pack
-This was the old Music Pack, but now some Quake 2 songs were removed and some others that combines better with Quake 3 Industrial music style were added in place.

 

Madness of an Epic Massacre Music Pack
-This add-on contains tracks from movies or other games which fits the same theme of what Sonic Mayhem and Front Line Assembly did to Quake 3, works with pretty every megawad/gameplay wad but mainly made for Hunter's Moon.
