It just redirects to rome.ro... It's possible the proxy saw "sin" and made an assumption. You know, the Scunthorpe problem.

Was Doom II definitely released on October 10th then? Wikipedia and Doomwiki.org, along with some others, both show that it was released on September 30th.

John Romero said that was the date of the release party, and he has claimed to have a photographic memory (I think it was during either the video of him playing Doom with IGN or him playing Doom with JP Lebreton). Assuming that's true (why would he lie about that?), he would be the authority.
