Just an FYI about using this with Voxel Chibi Doom (I presume, I didn't test it solo) -- E1M8's 666-tag action doesn't occur when the Barons are killed. Methinks the voxel Baron is missing a death pointer.

2. 8-bit remakes for stock music tracks.

The monsters are pretty botched overall, TBH. They're only half as fast and aggressive as they're supposed to be.

 

I thought the author decided to conflate "redundant" walking states, but there's BBCC all over. Except the zombie trooper, for example, walks every 8 tics instead of every 4 tics, so I was at least half-right.

 

It should be BBBBCCCC 4 A_Chase instead of BBCC 8 A_Chase.

You are right, the monster behavior was bugged. I corrected it immediately when I read your post. The new v4_1 version has been uploaded which corrects that as per your suggestion.

 

The error came from the fact that the voxel models have only two walking frames instead of four or more wich had me confused when converting the actors.

 

Edit: The Baron's A_BossDeath action has been fixed in version v4.
