Gamma / brightness problems with ZdoomGL solved!

Recommended Posts

A short time ago I mentioned that it was not possible to adjust the brightness in ZdoomGL as the slider did not have any effect.

I am using a ATI Radeon 8500.

I found a superb utility called Powerstrip which allows you to adjust the gamma while in the game!

I hope this is of use to anyone else with graphic cards which do not allow you to adjust the brightness.

AFAIK ZDoomGL doesn't support gamma correction anyway, so the slider bar shouldn't do anything anyway ;)

The new ZDoomGL does though.

Also, I figured a cheap hack for anyone who can't be bothered downloading that: In the console, simply type "testblend white #.#"

#.# = anything between 0.0 and 1.0.
