After the demons had been totally annihilated, Doomguy started an organization to help relieve the extreme collective stress experienced by Earth's survivors. Animals in need of homes are taken in by the Cutesy Squad as Cutesy operatives scout out people who are in need of some sort of positive emotional boost. Using advanced portable homing beacons Cutesy operatives mark people for animal delivery. People who are marked will have an adorable animal teleported to them, these animals are trained to dispense unconditional love and compassion for as long as the person needs it. When a person is no longer in need of an animal it is teleported back to the Cutesy Squad headquarters where it is loved and cared for. All animals are outfitted with a collar that detects both the person's and the animal's stress levels, to both ensure that the person is receiving the emotional boost they need as well as to ensure the safety of the animal. During extreme cases where someone might need an animal for an extended period of time, Cutesy Squad operatives will ensure that the animal is fed and cleaned up after to ensure that the animal does not provoke extra stress caused by that animal's needs.
