myk Posted September 3, 2002 Can Ni'mrod be played without a "1337" 3d card? Has it been tested for compatibility with software gfx mode? I ask because I loaded it, and it ran, but in the 1st map there's these sprites of chains hanging from the ceiling, which, unfortunately, show up encrusted in the ground. NiGHTMARE Posted September 3, 2002 I played Nimrod in software mode, and it worked fine. It did sometimes come up with "segment violations" when starting a new level, but I'm not sure if this is to do with software mode or not. 0 Share this post Link to post

kristus Posted September 12, 2002 Yes, the latest RC version had a bug with the dehacked support. Causing hangs from ceiling to not work. I mainly tested Nimrod with Software, even forgot to furily test it in OGL, causing a red forcefield to be very hard to sopt in map02. Ohwell. shit happens. 0 Share this post Link to post
