spottydog10 Posted January 7, 2018 (edited) So i'm just having a go at this wad:https://www.doomworld.com/idgames/levels/doom2/Ports/megawads/conf If I load it in either Zandronum or Skultag, a saved game takes 3 or 4 mins to load and the floors and walls are just checked boxes. If I use prboom+ or gzdoom (both latest versions) the textures are all over the place or the scenery melts. Any ideas for a solution? Ta, Mike 0 Share this post Link to post
bonnie Posted January 7, 2018 (edited) You have to use cc4tex.wad with the wad, as it was deemed to be too large to include with the actual wad itself. Pretty alarming that it doesn't say it in the description for the wad, instead being buried in the .txt file. download: http://grandvoid.sickedwick.net/wads/cc4-tex.zip 0 Share this post Link to post
spottydog10 Posted January 7, 2018 Thanks bonnie, I've downloaded it. Do I unzip and put it in the same folder or does it need installing some way? 0 Share this post Link to post

Use ZDL wad launcher to load multiple wads.https://zdoom.org/wiki/ZDL And read txt files which comes with wads. 0 Share this post Link to post

I strongly recommend ZDL as well, but if you don't want to use it, just drag and drop both conf.wad and cc4tex.wad together over your source port's exe. Be sure to select/load cc4tex.wad last. 0 Share this post Link to post
