How do i reboot in DOS???

On my machine (running WinMe) DCK refuses to run even when I've booted into DOS... but maybe it's different when doing this in Win2K.

Windows 2000 doesn't have DOS. Set up a DOS partition or something.

Win2k and DOS? I heard they broke up. If I'm not mistaken, they are still fighting over at court over the custody of their childern. The Red One... get a new editor or a new (well, old) OS. I'd do the latter but it depends on what you want.

Wadauthor or deepsea are what most people use in Windows, albeit they are shareware (not free.) It also depends what you want to do, since some older editors (windeu or edmap or something) that are not as popular may be just right for you unless you wish to edit using the newest features of legacy, zdoom or other newer source engines.

Also, DETH (and derivatives HETH and ZETH) will most likely work fine in Win2k, although they were made for DOS/Older Windows. But they should work. DETH is my editor of choice, BTW.

and that's why i stick witn win '98 and dos- dck, and nwtpro are all i know for doom editing.
