DOOM Parody comic, created by yours truly.

Hey guys!

 

I'm new here, and I just wanted to stop by to drop a comic that I recently finished. I plan to do more of these if they're well recieved. Many thanks for any form of feedback!

mean feedback: kinda went all over the place

a little too long, some of the panels were pointless

despite being too long, it was still far too short to warrant having the "the end" part

the doomguy dialogue was cringy

didn't capitalize on the handful pun

 

good feedback: art is good

the setup was pretty good but the execution of the actual punchline was not

i like how they're casually mean

good yes

 

make more but keep them simpler and work on the punchlines a little

this could probably work as one of them online comic site thingies

Thanks for your feedback! I'll take it into consideration when making the next one. Also, the whole Doomguy dialogue thing wasn't in the original script. I added it as a reference to the incredibly cheesy original DOOM comic, but that still dosen't invalidate your criticism.

 

I'll make sure to make more (and better) comics in the future.

Oh, and just as a side-note, the "THE END" part was simply because I had nothing else to put on that page. I thought it'd be a bit funny, but whatever.

I liked it. I liked the two cacodemons--they had a kind of we're just two guys at the office quality to them. I liked the "You go man!" motivation to his friend. I particularly liked how he went from positive and eager to unhappy and distraught. Having his eye brim with tears while being covered by the blood of his friend was a nice touch.
