Insomniak Posted September 13, 2002 My three top choices are: 1. Bob Marley 2. Chilled Euphoria (Vol. 1) 3. The Crystal Method Anyways, what do you listen to while chillin'? (drug-induced or otherwise) 0 Share this post Link to post
IMJack Posted September 13, 2002 The only really "chillin"" music I have is a few tracks by Scientist from the GTA3 soundtrack. I listen to a lot of punk. I just ripped about four hours of music from a bunch of Punk-O-Rama discs I own. /me is listening to Unsung Zeros - Miracle 0 Share this post Link to post
Grazza Posted September 13, 2002 Oh, that sort of chilling (if you'd meant scary/chilling, I'd have said E1M5). "In the Land of Grey and Pink" by Caravan. "Electric Music for the Mind and Body" by Country Joe and the Fish. "Green" by Steve Hillage. "A Saucerful of Secrets" by Pink Floyd. ...and others. 0 Share this post Link to post
Use Posted September 13, 2002 1. Front Line Assembly 2. Massive Attack 3. anything with Mike Patton in it Those are the top three. Most of the time when i'm idle i'm mapping anyway. 0 Share this post Link to post
zark Posted September 13, 2002 Pinback. I hardly ever listen to chilled out music - most of the time I'm listening to metal and stuff. 0 Share this post Link to post
Sharessa Posted September 13, 2002 Pink Floyd, Tool, or The Fragile, by NIN 0 Share this post Link to post
AndrewB Posted September 13, 2002 Bahahahaha. Korn. How pathetic... Sorry but it's true. What's the deal for worshipping music for the sole reason of it being bad? Bob Marley indeed. Classical music. Video game music. By the way, what's a "drug"? 0 Share this post Link to post

It's his head, his ears, his opinion. Your comment isn't necessary since no one cares what you want them to listen to. 0 Share this post Link to post
AndrewB Posted September 13, 2002 Okay... Well then while we're at it, let's go worship Chinese pizza, Kia automobiles, Apple computers and burlap wallpaper! Hey, who's hankering for some REoL maps, Best Buy service, Pepsi Blue or ankle cancer? Yummy, I can't wait! There's so many things out there to like! 0 Share this post Link to post
Grazza Posted September 13, 2002 I got a really great Indian curry once in Salt Lake City. Sometimes things you wouldn't expect to be good turn out to be great. The month I once had on crutches following a serious ankle sprain did wonders for my upper-body strength and general fitness. You ever had a Chinese pizza, AndrewB? 0 Share this post Link to post
Insomniak Posted September 13, 2002 Mexican and Greek pizza are good Anyways, let's not have this turn into a flamewar over what people listen to. If BBG chooses to listen to Korn, that's his choice (Although I can't see how Korn could be in any way, shape, or form, relaxing). I also like to listen to a few NIN 'ambient' tracks, such as "help me I am in hell", "A warm place", and "The mark has been made" 0 Share this post Link to post
Grazza Posted September 13, 2002 Insomniac said:(Although I can't see how Korn could be in any way, shape, or form, relaxing).I think any music can be relaxing if you are sufficiently familiar with it. If every note is something you are expecting and have heard many times before, then it won't jar with anything in your brain, and so you can relax to it. I can relax listening to Motorhead, for instance, but it probably wouldn't be my first choice for that purpose. Yeah, let's have a flamewar about things that are purely personal preference. My favourite colour is green. Anyone got a problem with that? Eh? Eh? :) 0 Share this post Link to post
myk Posted September 14, 2002 Hmm.. in addition to DOOM music (or things like that, which play well on WinGroove or as MP3s): Candlemass Prince Nick cave Skyclad Bjork Hermetica RHCP Plus some doom metal or death metal bands, and some other stuff, but the list above includes what I like most, and what I can name easily. 0 Share this post Link to post
