Blake Stone TC?

I'm curious, has ANYONE ever tried to make a total conversion of Blake Stone (Aliens of gold or Blake strike) inside the DooM engine? It's probably not do-able for vanilla DooM (not fully at any rate) but I'd LOVE to see how the game would feel inside DooM's engine rather than whatever engine Blake Stone used.

Blake Stone has an SDL port: http://bibendovsky.github.io/bstone/

It uses Planet Strike's code as the base, so Blake Stone takes advantage of the additional features. Allowing you to use modern controls and making the hardest difficulty non-retarded (bullet sponginess is nerfed) are the two biggest reasons to play the game through this.
