And what about those gigs where you can pay to get midis authored from scratch? ReX Posted March 15, 2018 If you own the music (as you've indicated in the title to your post) you might be free to distribute it. The author can typically claim copyright, but if the work was commissioned by you, you might acquire that right. The original holder of the copyright may be the employer of the author rather than the author himself if the work is a "work for hire". A US copyright may be sold or transferred as long as the transfer is in writing and signed by the party relinquishing ownership. Check the laws where you reside. 0 Share this post Link to post
