A great early Zdoom level with a bit of a quake feel to it. A bit of a silly surprise near the end, but still worth playing.x

It could have been a perfect map if you didn't make the silly cyberdemon pop up once you were outside.x

Ah, here's a WAD that's aging quite well. While it doesn't offer the innovative build of Tei Tenga, it plays much better. The increased speed and toughness of imps, zombiemen, and shotgun dudes is a threat until you realize how quick that shotgun you have is. A couple of smartly designed battles and a nice, nonlinear layout boosts the quality of this wad a lot. Just fun to play. 4/5 -Snakesx

This was was pretty much the ultimate bible for ZDoom editing up until around 2001 (see also Doom3057 for another example). Like many early ZDoom wads, it is a shameless homage to Quake II. While ZDoom editing has largely grown out of particle fountains, stealth imps, and oversaturated colored lighting thrown in for its own sake, it's good to remember where ZDoom originally came from. Solid ZDoom 1.22 nostalgia. 4/5 --Woolie.x

This one is a bit monothematic, playing in a big machine hall. Only the finish offers some variation with a nice mountain trip. The challenge is over avarage, mainly due to the human monsters and the imps having been made harder. Other monsters are unchanged but placed in tricky places. Overall, this map is not as beautiful and convincing as its sequel, but that's pretty normal. A wad should become better with time, not worse... :-) 4/5 -Milianx

I like the new textures but maybe not the fast imps or fast shotgun. Nice gameplay and could be tough from time to time except for the fact that you will have ammo coming out you ass. A cool little map and worth a shot. 5/16/07x
