| I just played this for the first time on October 30, 2014. I am amazed at what this team managed to accomplish in 2004! This wad almost has a System Shock 2 feel to it at times, and you can tell they put a lot of thought into the plot. Be sure to edit the first decorate actor or the you won't be able to use the pistol due to the "pistol bug". 5/5 stars. | x |

| Boring, a popup menu that I couldn't figure out how to use, and a shitty first fight. I hated everything about it. | x |

| If I wanted to play Half-Life I'd play Half-Life, not a Doom WAD that plays like Half-Life. Even then reading a book is a lot more entertaining than the Half-Life franchise and it's certainly more entertaining than this boring slog. | x |

| It would be better if scripts weren't weirdly fucked up. There's an error preventing from running a music in Labs (when it teleports you to checkerboard room) due to typo in scripts and nobody can't fix it. | x |

| It's like the best Marathon/System_Shoc k resemblance in doom I ever witnessed and relates to the doom stories. The ending to crash down to Mars w/ a 99% death probability is a complete anti-climax. There is some of the random *insanity* noises, hud message alignment, computer interface, log commands that needs fixing. And it should top both Marathon and System Shock. ~2/5 | x |

| That new "oof" sound is burned into my mind after having played this. I saw plenty of HOMs in the storage areas with the crates (on the sloped bits), and no matter what the wiki told me to do, I couldn't get the pistol bug fixed. The new skin is hilarious and ugly, and even though I am badass with the pistol, I cannot fight hundreds of bull demons and imps with only it. I also don't understand why the ship is constantly spinning in space, shouldn't it be moving forward? | x |
|
Anonymous
| IMO it's almost ridiculous this only has 4 starts. Possibly the best ZDoom hub ever. It beats Daedalus any day! | x |
|
Anonymous
| Better than KDiZD? It's just as bad because this wad has the exact same type of locked-door and switch hunting gameplay! | x |
|
Anonymous
| It's too slow, which can be okay if it was because of the story. But being slow is a bad thing in this wad because of the locked doors. It's like every time I try to open a door, I have to go to the other end of the ship to hit some switch, but that switch is behind another locked door that can only be opened by another switch on the other end of the ship, etc. etc. etc.. | x |

Anonymous
| this wad is completely jampacked of electronic failures, high temperatures, denied access, low pressure, low power, and miscellaneous other shit that simply doesn't operate, making you to have to meander around the same cramped boring ass rooms for hours enduring extremely controlled gameplay and evidently no fun. I cringed everytime I saw a door knowing ahead of time that this wad was going to give me some excuse as to why I'm not going to be allowed to open it. Boring as fuck. | x |

| Cool level design. The error with the pistol is caused by a DECORATE trick that doesn't work anymore. You can make it playable again by renaming the 'Pistol' in the DECORATE lump to something else, but this results in you starting with it in your hand. You can always play the WAD with an older ZDoom version (pre-2.1) if you want the atmosphere of starting unarmed. | x |

| Pistol doesn't work after being picked up. Kept on dying at the beginning from the first round of imps. Possible script error, maybe. | x |

| It's innovative, it's amazing looking, it's smart, it's a superb level... but I just like shootin' shit in old school doom style, and this is way too puzzle-y for me. I guess I'm a traditionalist, but I like it fast n furious as opposed to slick n cerebral. 4/5 | x |

| Really sucks that people are giving bad ratings to this wad because it's "boring" or "too hard". All I can say is forget them. The whole point was to take doom a new direction and they succeeded beyond expectations. RTC-3057 steps away from the regular monster packed rooms with 90 cell packs and goes into a story driven gripping adventure filled with puzzles and surprises. It's a grand experience. - Martyrdom | x |

| Pros: Good to decent layout which makes the environment solid, with competent music (some tracks fit better than others), and evident effort put overall. Cons: Some texturing and details dulled by excessive attention to realism, game play is slow and health stringent, and the "story" is little more than an embellished switch hunt. [3/5] ~Chain Mail | x |

| From the 2 year old point of view, nice architecture and atmosphere, wether it pays homage to System Shock or not. Too much crap to read though, stuff that isn't really connected with the game (like dr's past in the labs). Too much telling vs showing. But the story itself developes pretty good with player's sanity going down the drain, while still in pursuit of demons. 4 stars. | x |

| A little bit confusing, half Quake, half Life, half (lol) Doom. A great experience within another world, with a ton of new awesome features, but with a poor gameplay. Many of the rooms are too much empty, without any purpose. It makes me think of an unfinished project. Thus, you MUST play it and keep in mind how complex it should have been to build such an enormous pwad, totally new. Shaviro and NiGHTMARE, the leaders, made a fantastic job, even if a lot of work is remaining to improve it. 5/5 - Jive | x |

| Without a doubt the greatest Doom mod I've ever played. While the gameplay is sometimes tedious, the beautiful map designs, amazing music, and well-written storyline make up for anything that could possibly be perceived as a shortcoming. In addition, it manages to be legitimately scary, something that not many Doom levels can still do. Also, the soundtrack to this is in my most-played songs list. It's that good. If you haven't played this yet, play it now. 5 stars. - esselfortium | x |

| This wad is great. This isn't you're typical doom wad, but much more of a modern game.
I loved it, but it's really short and some areas could use some extra action like in the cryochamber( it could burst open and monsters come out or something).
YOu can really the work that has been put in the archtecture, music, athmosphere and the storey is well written too. Can't wait till hub 2 ( if it ever comes =( )

| What more can I say? Non-linear design in the format of a hub, puzzles, gameplay that is never overly challenging or dull (plenty of tenseness when health got a bit low and no health around), awesome music, excellently designed levels (and HUGE ones at that), very complex scripting (I have yet to figure out how the fans work, heh), and an actual story. This is by far one of the greatest wads ever created. Should hubs 2 & 3 be finished, this will without a doubt be the BEST wad series in existence. 5/5 -ace | x |

| Wow, a WAD that challenged me to have to use my fists here and there, rarely gave me the comfort of an abundant health percentage, and actually had intense battles I wasn't positive I'd survive through. Not too mention, challenge me with creative puzzles here and there. Awesome wad, the gameplay/story interface/difficulty made me kind of feel like I was playing a Marathon scenario on the Doom engine, which isn't a bad thing at all. Incredible use of the Doom engine. | x |

| Impression, obviously a lot of effort has been put into it. Nice retro mid-90s drum'n'bass music, too. But suffers terribly from 'uncanny valley' effect; rather that feeling like a superior modern-day Doom level, it feels like a poor-quality commercial game from 1995 or thenabouts. Huge borrowings from Unreal and System Shock (with sounds from Operation: Flashpoint, I think). | x |

| holy hell this is amazing. What an immersive wad! I would like to point to features which I feel do this wad harm. Firstly, all that computer hacking can get overly complicated. For new or casual Doomers, this would definitely be a problem. Secondly, the fights are often too simple to be enjoyed. I feel that the difficulty does not challenge more experienced Doomers and the gameplay does not vary in difficulty or pace, which is a shame. 4 Stars --- Starburst. | x |

The gameplay of this wad may be different, but I think it works out pretty damn good. I usually don't find hubs to be very exciting (hexen's first hub for example), and the puzzles can be tedious, yet not annoying at the same time, so overall the gameplay is on-par with the detailing. | x |
