     | quite possibly one of the best ZDoom megawads ever conceived, and I'm not even a sonic fan. one zone for two levels, each and every one has some unique gameplay themes, puzzles, secrets, etc. it's also very nice to see the jokes being cracked up every now and then. most of the target boss battles are a bit lame, but I like them anyways. the new monsters give a cool flavor. there are quite a few bugs, but I can work around them just fine. | x |

     | Pretty solid modification. Loved the level design and the new mechanics, and I thought the new mechanics worked well.
However I didn't like the length and tediousness of the target bosses, but I thought they were all pretty unique. I liked the
cutscene idea aswell, but the opening one was much too long for my taste. Aesthetically it looks pretty damn good, with
some really nice new textures, but during one of the forest levels I found a small HOM error on one of the houses. 4/5

     | I had already given this wad 5 stars, but i've reconsidered since. I replayed it w/o using God Mode all the time. The level design is neat, interesting ideas are plentiful, and scripting is done right. But this wad just becomes absolutely brutal towards the end, and not in the good way (blame me for playing on UV). Some puzzles can be tedious and a lil' annoying. Now, this wad has way more good stuff than bad stuff, but some things could have been done better. PRETTY DARN GOOD | x |

     | I would say that this wad had some good maps designs 4 out of 5 at best. Some maps had some weird hard-to-move-around parts like those target bosses in the sky. Yeah those things were very tedious.
I loved the window effects you did. I also see you used the transfer heights technique to make deep water, it would be better if you used the 3d floors to make water and bridges, that would look better.

     | Platforming in this is abysmal and some bosses are stupidly ridiculous and finicky, yes, but it just has this epic appeal to it -- and I mean that term by its literal definition. A full playthrough will leave you feeling a massive sense of accomplishment, like you really did embark on an awesome journey on the grandest scale. | x |

     | This is one of those wads that are great, but ignored by most people, which is sad. The new monsters are amazing, every level seems like an adventure, the bonus stages are fun and the bosses are epic (except the final one, which i found quite underwhelming). There are some gameplay flaws, but overall, this is a near-perfect wad that has been judged unfairly. 5 stars | x |

     | If you read the text file it says the wad works in plain ZDoom as well. The only GZDoom feature I can see are the dynamic lights, which I presume were added for people who use GZDoom to play it. Still an awesome wad though. | x |

     | For anyone who has played this megawad before, I think you'll be happy to know that TUD has updated the game... looks like almost a year ago. I didn't even know he updated this wad until I re-downloaded the wad out of curiosity. If you want to know what was updated... lets just say it now uses GZdoom features. | EPIC MEGAWAD did this get a cacoward? It deserves one! There is only 2 downsides. A. The bos in the mines level that raises the water couldnt be shot after the water was fully raised and B. THere isnt a sequel. THERE NEEDS TO BE A SEQUEL! Amazingly it runs along a timeline with fragport but the same bad forces throught the saga. I wanna give it 20/5 :D A must have for everyone! | x |

     | Just ignore the horrendous moving platforms that don't pull you along with them, and maybe edit the dialogue, and replace the boss and pre-boss music with their Jet Force Gemini equivalents, and you have an excellent wad. As far as the target-based bosses, they were repetitive and annoying, but the volcano one was actually entertaining. 4/5 | x |

     | Ambitious, but basing a mod that almost entirely revolves around jumping in ZDoom is one of the worst ideas anyone could have ever had. Terrible, terrible dialogue and repetitious target-based bosses that are colossal speed humps only lower enjoyment further and detract significantly from the occasional flash of brilliance. 1/5 | x |

     | Given the amount of work that went into this, it's actually rather sad that it is absolutely no fun to play. The whole concept is an outright failure, with some rather desperate attempts to salvage the train-wreck with large-scale battles, "bosses" and "challenges" that only serve to prolong the agony. TUD should have abandoned this project at an early stage, as soon as he realized he was onto a loser. And he did realize that, surely?! | x |

     | I like the bosses, they are very innovative. In fact, everything about this wad is innovative. I love the story progression and your take on a space-base type level. The only problem is that some of the maps are a little too confusing, but I guess that is unavoidable since only one person was making 35 maps. You basically took everything that was wrong with Fragport and made it right! | x |

     | This is my favorite Doom WAD of all time. While there are problems with graphical bugs and I have a problem toward the end of Ocean City Zone Act 2, it is still one of the most fun WADs out there. I also agree that the dialouge can be pretty lame at times too. However, I love the Sonic elements; the music, the monitors, the rings, the target-based bosses. I love the new enimies, and the fact that the Quake 2 railgun is in this is awesome! This needs a sequel, seriously. 5/5

     | amazing and very unique wad. I only had a problem with the volcano zones which had eruptions very frequently so I'd spend most of the level waiting for the screen to stop shaking! Other than that, many detailed locations. The space levels in the end are my favorites. 5 out of 5! | x |

     | Jeez! The people who just call this wad "downright crap" obviously haven't played it through all the way, or are idiots! Anyways, this wad is extremely detailed from the lettering on buildings and doors, anti-gravity, fog, swimming, etc. Unlike classic doom, you actually feel like you're in a reactor or hellish temple. My only gripe is that one room in level 28 slows down a lot, but since you can simply "noclip" around that, I don't mind. I give it a spirited 5 out of 5! | x |

     | VERY good mapping, particularly levels like the warships go well with the story (simplictic though it is). Nice scripting, but I couldn't figure out all the secrets and some of the bosses are just impossible. My major gripe is that it seems VERY heavily biased towards the mouse users. Some of the target bosses are virtually impossible for any keyboarder; I godmoded through many of these. And do us a favor and hire a quote writer who's over 10 years old, please.
Nice concept, OK execution. 4/5 -NetNomad | x |

     | Excellent concept, OK execution. Some of the music feels out of place (cutesy doesn't work when you're breaking things and killing people), many of the bosses aren't very good, and the dialogue is either funny or lame (the best lines: "I know you. You're the Firestarter!" "And I know you. You're dead. Goodbye."). Overall a very good wad, but not quite one of the alltime greats. | x |

     | It's solid and enjoyable in small doses, and surely deserves to be remembered as an innovative design. But it's also obviously rushed in several places (graphical errors, mismatched messages, etc). The basic combat is mediocre--the meat of the thing is the exploration and the boss battles, which are sort of "combative puzzles." In the end, I just can't quite reconcile the atmosphere of DooM (dark, spooky, tense) with that of Sonic (bright, cheerful, facetious). Perhaps some others can. 3/5. -TDotW | x |

D/L it, play the first few zones, and if you like the styly keep playing, if you don't like the style, quit and find another wad to play. For me it is a 5 of 5. Great work! | x |

     | Ok so it's got Elements of Sonic The Hedgehog in it. Big deal. Frankly I hated the Alien Series TCs, but that doesn't mean all of them sucked.
2 years worth of work in this one, you have to applaud. I would of given up on the idea within a week.
Still it's cool. You can't knock a guy down for trying something different, besides all the "DM" maps being made day in, and day out. | x |

Anonymous
     | Yes, the concept is unconventional, but the end result is a great game with some truly memorable moments. The score system and boss battles are excellent, even if sometimes tedious, and the zones themselves are varied and unique. While this megawad tends more toward puzzle/exploration levels (don't get me wrong, there's still plenty of combat to be had), if you like that sort of thing--and you have a relatively good comp--it's one hell of a ride. 5 out of 5. | Just because it's a ZDoom megawad doesn't make it any good.
