This wad needs more coop-fixes and 4 (four) coop starts.x

very huge levels, prepare to take at least a day playing this all the way through. very adventurous style of play, ruined by some questionably ugly textures, misalignments, and a lot of backtracking throughout. MAP28 alone takes at least 30 minutes.x

Loving the v2 update. I recommend playing with PSX music for great atmosphere. Unfortunately MAP11 still has a small zdoomism with the gun trigger inside the plasma gun secret. Hopefully this will get fixed though.x

Very solid set of levels, with a high monster count, large layouts and challenging gameplay. Don't load up in UV unless you flesh out the pain. Try this with Complex Doom for MORE carnage. x

Got up to about map 6 before I quit. Ugh, the excessive backtracking and running around to activate triggers that open doors, reveal switches, raise/lower bars, etc. in order to progress kills the flow. It's like if Eternal Doom III was done horribly. Also encountered one level where you can get stuck because the door only opens from one side. Giving this two stars because at least some effort was put into these levels and because I imagine it would be more fun in co-op.x

Some peoples' idea of fun seems to be running around empty mazes for hours on end. 90% of doors open by remote switches you have to go look for (zzzz... ) Most of these levels would be all right with twice the monsters and half the switches.x

Switch hunts. Lovely. -groans- Doom is supposed to be a slaughter fest, not a treasure hunt. When ya gonna get that?x

This wad made me dizzy sometimes. If you ask me it is an "atmospheric wad". Don't know... Sometimes it is dull and boring but most of the time it lives up to it's name - mad corridor. 4/5x

One of the best. 5/5x

I don't like the unaligned textures and the overuse of open space. It feels half-assed, but some maps in it are pretty good. The lack of new music gives it the classic doom feel, which is cool. It's an ok megawad 3/5x

I enjoyed the complexity of the stages; however, some of the levels (particularly in the early 20s) may have been a bit too long though. The enemy placement and traps were pretty good, and make this WAD work especially well with the "Overpowered Weapons 2" pack, since it powers up the types of enemies that most of Armadosia's ambushes and snipers are made up of. A challenging WAD!x

Very good. So full of surprises. However I got lost many times though, since many of the levels were so large and complex. It also needs custom map names (instead of Entryway, etc). Even though this megawad lacked custom music, I compensated it with a music wad, such as the music wad component for "Aeons of Death" (a ZDoom weapon/monster mod that can be found in the Editing forums at ZDoom.org). 4/5x

This megawad was pretty alright. However, there should have been custom music, because the default Doom 2 music can make gameplay a bit boring. The lack of difficulty implementations also hurt the megawad too. And each of the 32 maps should have had names for them too (could have used DeHackEd or some special editor where you can edit the text of map names and interludes). 3.5/5 (rounded to 4)x

Nice mapset overall. The author needs to remove the imbedded gl nodes as gzdoom states that they are v1 which is not supported and because there are no GL_VERT or v1 reason prboom+ will not run this wad.x

As the review says: Some good maps, and some not that good. No changes in music, a few times some new textures, fair stuff at all.x

Oh well. Nice stuff, but sometimes too crampy for my taste, lottsa ammo eaters on first levels, and lottsa bugs keeping me from correctly finishing a level. Still there are also lots of good parts. I'd also vote for a 3.5/5.x

Because of inexistent texture allignment (I am a sucker for proper allignment and good detail). Still nicely design and a bit fun at times. 3.5/5.x

Poor detail and alot of areas with monsters in wide open fields. Pretty boring.x

The last thing any Doom wad needs is a lame plot. And while difficulty settings would have been nice, it certainly isn't extreme on NTR/HMP/UV. And there's always -skill 1 if you want. 5/5x

If this had a few more things to it, such as difficulty settings and a plot, this would be rated higher. 3/5x

Oh yes, this is very good; also available from http://www.armadosia .euro.st/x

Armadosia was one of the best wads of 2005, so 5/5 is a given. That said, it is a great shame that this isn't a bugfixed rerelease - it is the original version (maybe not uploaded by the author?), which still contains some significant and known bugs.x
