Great work. Nice new textures, lots of architecture, nice decoration, good although quite repetitive ambiance: 4*. ATOH gameplay is far from good due to the awfully uninspired monster placement and the completely predictable traps, making the fights at the end totally uninteresting: 2*. So despite the amount of work: overall 3*. BTW when a map is good, it will *not* a priori get better by adding monsters, because the quality is in the smartness, not in the amount. Soit.x

This much fun for free can't be legal. At first I thought "Nice little maps with great texturing" but later locations are memorable and grand with hordes of enemies. I found myself using weapons in ways I wouldn't previously have dreamt, e.g. rockets against packs of imps. Game play is tough but fair. Health packs abound, and I needed them. Music is great. Lighting is above-par and only occasionally dubious. My only real gripe is the new monster. Why bother if you're not going to animate its legs?x

One of the best WADs I've played. I still come back and play this with different mods. (Except Brutal Doom, UAC Ultra is difficult as it already is)x

One of my most favourite wads ever. So well detailed and very original; it really takes you into it's world. I've played through it twice now. I would give it 10 stars if I could. Play this now! -TRRobin.x

Everything about this wad is so perfect. 5/5 x

An amazing mapset that dark, grim and challenging but still put a smile on my face. The new monster is excellent as is the map that introduces it - in short these are my kind of maps, and now in my top 5 WADs.x

Had lots of fun with this one. Very polished.x

11 map episode based on a rusted/metal/industr ial theme bringing a dark atmosphere with some great gameplay ranging from fairly easy to semi slaughter style in some parts. An excellent wad which it's style is unique enough to avoid downmarking for being similar visually throughout the 11 maps. 5 starsx

Solid and polished. Great layouts and some interesting ideas -- purist. 4/5x

I really enjoyed myself here - great set of maps. It gets progressively better with each map; and I liked the use of the new monster as well as the final boss. 5/5 ~vfx

Classic. Looks better in OpenGL for sure. Plays at least as good as any one of 40oz's BD maps, and probably a bit better, actually. 5/5.x

I don't like wandering through 10 almost identical looking maps to be honest. The layouts weren't different or unique enough to keep me interested either, save for a very few areas here and there. Gameplay is good with some nice ambushes, but the quite linear progression through the maps as well as the overuse of SSG-suited fights kind of ruined it for me... didn't care for the new monster 3/5x

Superb mapset! GREAT pacing, with some nicely challenging sequences throughout and several memorable set-pieces. I've noticed a few people criticizing the art style as too drab or "samey", but I thought keeping the dark industrial theme consistent worked in its favour. Having that continuity between levels made me feel more like there's a defined story progression, rather than just a series of random, non-interconnected maps. Brilliant work. 5/5 x

I absolutely love this. Clever as hell gameplay. Great aesthetic, not overdone. Will play again.x

Raised blood pressure is the best way Ican describe this WAD. Amazing levels combined with a dark industrial texture set create a very pleasurable experience. Best WAD I have played.x

played one level each night. and each night after completing the level, I got up from my computer seat, and had a "big grin" on my face. (get your minds out of the gutter, you bums *laugh*) 5/5x

A better weapon should have been provided two maps before MAP03. It is tedious to fight massive amounts of monsters with massive amounts of health with just a boomstick. Fortunately it picks up on MAP03. 4/5 - Zalewa Also, what's with the stopping music?x

#1 badass. One of the best megawads I've ever played. The difficulty's just right, the design is excellent, gameplay is comfortable, music is really nice, overall a 5/5.x

The only thing one could find wrong here is that it's not a full megawad. Other than that, play this and you know why this hopefully will get a Cacoward. 5/5 - NightFrightx

This is a great set of levels. The end was neat and the pacing was excellent. The only thing that I have a problem with was the new monster. The graphics of it doesn't look like something that should be in doom. 4/5x

Uh, original? This is drab, brown and boring looking. Architecture itself is solid, but the textures do nothing for it. Gameplay is fast, but not challenging at all. Way over-rated. 3/5x

Such an excellent and original concept and idea. Brilliant episode!x

Too much fun! Seriously, this is one of the best WADs I've ever played! Solid game play, good fights, excellent graphics, original architectural designs, good lighting, and great music! 5/5x

Some of the best gameplay I've experienced in a doom wad. Music really helps the atmosphere of most of the levels. Forgot to rate this when it was uploaded, so yeah, 5/5. -Snakesx

Seemed quite easy for me most of the time on UV, although one or two areas did kill me (much to my dissappointment, as I was feeling pretty unstoppable until then). Very good fun though! 5* -Phobusx

Cacoward nominee? What?! 5/5 ? WHAT?! Lol, this wad is plain boring.x

This wad was not bad at all. The textures worked well with the environment and map structure. Most of all, the gameplay was challenging yet not overly difficult. Of course in the places where Arch-Vile pops up, those battles were a bit tedious. Other than that, I enjoyed the whole thing. There was plenty of ammo and a nice amount of health. It has a bit of old school Doom mixed with new school. Nice job. -Alando1x

It's great. It's not as flashy as Legacy of Suffering, but has a better gameplay and doom 3 appearance. 5/5 Note: has a bug with the map 7 on gzdoom 1.4.08, with older versions I had no problemx

Wonderful!!! New texture, foot sound, barrel timing..x

This is one of the wads that go into my personal archive.I had trouble with the Icon fight until a stray shot showed me the way.[Very clever and extremely creative!]Excellent work 40oz and Super Jamie!5*-d.d.koopx

Uac Ultra is a good looking wad, with stable gameplay that has a small resemblance to the begining of Doom 64, while still being unique in it's own way. 5/5 -Joe Andersonx

quite fuckin' awesome. - revenantx

This wad was so awesome I'm left speechless. Sure the graphics are merely "good", but the gameplay is EXACTLY what Doom should be. Lots of fighting, limited health, but more than enough ammo to make it by and assure a lack of frustration throughout the whole thing. I don't remember a moment of it I didn't enjoy. The second half was even better than the first. It was so fun that any criticism went right out the door - to the extent that I can't even remember what it was if I had one. 5 stars.x

2010's first Cacoward nominee. Astounding in every department, especially since the whole thing was done in Boom. I'm sure I'm not the only ZDoomer who feels well and truly put in his place by this WAD. Stunning and full marks - scallianox

Best mapset ever. If I'd ever have to recommend a wad to anyone, it would be this. The storyline, the progress, the consistent theme is brilliant, but what got me sold is the very clever traps and designs that I've never seen before. Map10 was my favorite, with Map09 being my 2nd fav. by very little. This is it, the wad of 2010. Amazing work, 40oz and Super Jamie. 62362352/5 - Motix

Very nice levels. There are other colors besides black though. The end boss was pretty good but I wasn't sure what to do at the end I was running around looking for a switch until I worked it out. I thought it was just scenery at first. The other new monster was great but seemed a bit illogical (a hammer that shoots fireballs? maybe more at home in hexen). Still great job.x

Pretty sweet gameplay with great flow and balancing that lets you really have some fun with the maps. The texture/colour theme is pretty amateur looking, but at least it helps it to stand out. 4/5x
