|Hellbent||Very fine map. Some backtracking at the end was a little underwhelming; as was the overall flow of the map, but the architecture was fantastic.

|Anonymous||Man this is what I crave, what I live on! This, right here, is really refined and balanced gameplay. It's addictiveness is like crack. A must play for fans of classic 90s gameplay.||x|
|Lightning Hunter||The combination of base and outdoor theme made this map stand above the other E1 maps out there. It is always nice to have a sense of location by being inside and outside the base. Many Doom mappers make the mistake of having their entire map inside tight quarters. The game play was good, with many traps that kept me on my toes. The ending was too easy though, with the overabundance of plasma and rocket ammo. The start was much more of a challenge. Overall, an enjoyable map.||x|
|Anonymous||Well, it is yet another typical DD style map of easy difficulty. So, well made but nothing we haven't seen many times before. If you feel like walking for about 10 minutes in a competently designed environment then this is for you.||x|
|Anonymous||DD always makes the grade. This fusion of original Doom I styles is no exception. Very worth it!||x|
|Anonymous||This IS Doom! What a blast!! Haven't played a map with such a high degree of Doominess since Knee Deep in the Dead! Progression is natural, difficulty is superb for a map of this kind, what a rush!!!! Feel good map of the year!||x|
|Anonymous||This was very good. Nice detailing and architecture. While not hard as shit, it is still challenging. It actually reminds me of the first couple of levels in Espi's "Suspended in Dusk". 5/5||x|
|Anonymous||Well it's not quite what I would call "classic-style" but as a map it satisfies in all aspects, so 4/5 a given.||x|
|Anonymous||Man, I really like this one! Not a legendary one but still cool and stylish. 4/5 - Demonologist||x|
|Anonymous||Very good looking vanilla map (yes, works fine under vanilla Doom too, so this is in the wrong directory), with a large variety of visual themes that blend convincingly, and decent lighting. Too linear, with some dull, uneventful backtracking and predictable ambushes. Still, while not too challenging, there's just enough action to keep you interested. And, yay, a Doom 1 map! 3/5 -VV||x|
|Anonymous||This is one of those maps that make you go, "Oh well if I had known that then I'd have played it completely different." I did end up doing quite a bit of backtracking. I played on HMP and it was a bit on the easy side. There was more than enough ammo and weapons for the enemies encountered. I missed one secret and one item somewhere. Thanks for a nice way to spend my afternoon.

|Anonymous||A cool map for me, I enjoy with it but...the final battle just a little sucks, but I like the feel in there. Again, fighting 4 hell barons with shotgun is pain my ass, I know there is a secret area has plasma gun but...it still not a good idea for me. :p 4/5 -playerlin||x|
|Anonymous||Cool little map with nice design and good gameplay, I enjoyed that. 5/5 - Optimus||x|
|Anonymous||A fun level, I liked how it used a larger amount of weaker enemies, made the gameplay more interesting. Killing four Barons with nothing but a shotgun is not fun, killing 15 imps with a rocket launcher is.
My only complaint is that you had a lot of hitscanners hidden behind middle textures in the first rooms. It was annoying to get shot in the back while running out of the first room.
|Anonymous||My only gripe with this map is that the gameplay kinda declined after I got the red key. I kinda forgot where the other colored doors were so I kinda backtracked around the map until I found it. Maybe if you had added some extra monster closets in the middle of the map that were opened after picking up the red key, the monsters would have determined that I was moving in the right direction. Other than that the map was very well done. Very nice usage of DOOM.wad-only textures too.||x|
|Anonymous||Enjoyable level. Not very hard, but good fun with all the barrels.||x|
|Anonymous||Nice work man. Time for me to play some of your other levels!||x|
|Anonymous||Very nicely done. Really enjoyed it! ***** - Pcorf||x|
|Anonymous||Yeah, a bit too easy: originally, Doom 1 was considered hard. And where are the archviles? :P I like archviles. Great map though.||x|
|Anonymous||Very good classical map that sort of generically outlines Doom - rocket launcher and plasma gun were there but I didn't need them, challenge was negligable, ammo and health plentiful and the overall feeling is a good one. 4* - Phobus||x|
|Anonymous||nice one. looks good, gameplay's strong. i'm not such a fan of the only-90 degree angle architecture, but that's just me. worth a runthrough. 4/5, with a special gold start for the map not being for DOOM2. NT||x|
|Anonymous||This was really cool. I enjoyed this. 5/5||x|
|Anonymous||^No problem, guessing it's June 20, 2010. And make more please, I don't even care if it's classic style because all your maps are good.||x|
|Anonymous||It seems I forgot a (-n) release date. Stupid an/a crap, I'll never learn :p I will most certaintly make more classic doom maps in the future.||x|
|Anonymous||Please make more classic style. An very nice map :). (BTW we only write 'an' when the next word begins with a vowel (a, e, i, o, u)). But please don't stop writing 'an' because I always lol when I see it. Anyway 5/5 from me.||x|
|Anonymous||Not a hard map,but a good way to kill 2o min.or so.Architecturally,w e got a little bit of everything going on here.Still,it's fun.4/5-d.d.koop||x|
