I got stuck on the first level. I just kept going around in circles; this is to confusing.x

Pretty solid packx

Too symmetric at times, but when it's not, it's great. 3/5x

The beginning is a little weaker, but nearly all of the maps are very well-made and fun to play. Some are especially outstanding, such as "Alchemy". x

Just realize I neevr voted on this one yet, definitely deserves a 5 stars vote from me.x

This is my kind of wad tbh. Just very fun to play with well balanced gameplay. Nothing overly fancy or showy, just good old doom mechanics.x

Really superb megawad, one of the few newer megawads I actually finished. Maps are neither confusingly big nor too small, gameplay is hard but never cheap. There are no new or modified monsters with the exception of two boss fights at the end, so I recon this is a pretty good fit for playing with Brutal Doom.x

Too many forgettable maps because I played it some time ago and I can only remember 4 or 5 maps. Maybe most of it is just too similar. A shame really, coz I had a good time playing through this mapset. Nothing too spectacular though.x

i really hated the first level of this, but pressing on, i found some good maps to play. almost Plutonia styled in design but gameplay manages to be great.x
Eris Falling
Great levels, great soundtrack. One of my favourites. 5/5x

Excellent! Fun from start to finish, and manages to be genuinely challenging without reliance on insanely high monster counts.x

Very nice levels. Very detailed. Plus love the additional monsters. They fit very well. Overall great job. Hope to expect morex

A pleasant surprise! x

Really damn cool stuff. Barring the occasional awful Baron, and one or 2 questionable uses of key markers, I don't think I had any complaints. 5 stars for a top-quality WAD.x

killer. NO B.S. solid as hell, fun map pack. x

Well... it's a nice wad, among the better ones that came out in the past few years, but... seriously, just stop with the goddamn revenants already! Why can't there be just one wad that doesn't unleash armies of revenants on the player as early as the first few levels?! For that, it's only a 4/5. Anyway, the highway level and the one with the molten gold rivers (MAP15 I believe) were absolutely stunning.x

This is so cool! But too bad it isn't 100% finished as for example in DW plays megaclub thread, there was a "patch" wad alongside this to fix few glitches on some maps and the author Jimmy never got around to release a patched version of JENESIS! Can someone contact him and tell him about making a Final Final version of this wad? It's an excellent wad and definitely it should be fully finished! :Dx

There's good variety in the design of all levels - I liked the cavern / outdoor area / hell ones most, since the so-called 'techbase' theme is getting more and more uninteresting in general for me. The peculiar design of the final (boss) levels is really appreciable, although including some hint about their solution would have been nice. Good job!x

Good levels, but I just really didn't have fun playing this. Too many hitscanner traps for my taste. 3/5, but definitely recommended.x

Good maps. Just a word to budding designers. If you think it's "fun" to make a dozen pain elementals appear simultaneously around the perimeters of the map and begin barfing up 100s of flaming skull things - a) I lose all interest in playing and, b) I have no guilt about going into god mode and maxing out on rockets with the foolish optimism that the next level won't be so GODDAMN STUPID. Just DON'T DO IT. Sheesh.x

Of any 'basic' megawad from 2011 I think this is probably the best. It has a couple of catches like its competitor Reverie (different ones though) but shines just a bit brighter IMO. They don't really hurt the play IMO except if they happen to be things you just can't stand which is personal preference. If you can look past that this is a great almost vanilla megawad needing only a slight limit remover. It's all quite a well rounded and fun product I can easily recommend. 4.75/5 = 5/5x

Wow, the megawad was released 1 day after my 16th birthday (which was 1 year and half ago). Anyway on a more serious note, this is an excellent megawad and was done by one and ONLY one man and that's Jimmy! It combines themes from various older classic megwads which makes an exceptional level designer! Too bad it requires a Boom-themed source port, I wanted to play this on Chocolate Doom! Still I give 5/5! -Doomer95x

Top quality! Exactly the right size of maps, exactly proper level of details, exactly right balanced gameplay. There were just 2 spots on this perfect megawad. Firsly, in lot of levels, you have to go through whole map to get the key and then back to open the door. Fortunately maps aren't too big and I played it in Zdoom with locked doors visible in automap. Secondly in some maps are too many ammo and medkits. But no doubt 5/5 - Damnedx

Really good high quality wad, with balanced old school gameplay. I enjoyed it immensely. It's always impressive to see "one-man wad" projects that are this consistently good. 5 stars from me no less. -TRRobin.x

Doesn't always suit my taste but good levels all the same and an extra point for being a one man megawad - puristx

An excellent one-man megawad that very much deserves the cacoward it got. The levels showcase some really creative ideas and are a joy to play, and the music is top-notch as well. 5/5 -Stormwalkerx

One of my favourite MegaWADS ever!x

Just an awesome megawad. Probably the best Doom SP experience you can have.x

Very good megawad. 4.5/5x

It's beautiful, but imbalanced. 50 rockets and a shitload of plasma around for nothing more than few mancubuses and hellknights? It's an usual situation for the middle of the wad. On another hand, to max secret maps you should care about every bullet you've shot. And yet there's more funny things, like monsters stucking in each other at the icon of sin battle in map29 or inescapable areas throughout the wad. With more playtesting it could have been spectacular wad. 3/5.x

Quite possibly the best megawad 2011 had to offer. Doesn't look like a speedmapping effort at all. You get 32 maps with continuity, awesome design and enjoyable gameplay. The music actually rocks, too (try with EAWPats)! Note that there is a fix available adressing many map bugs (http://jimmy.phenom er.net/wad-files/jen efix.wad). Eventually, a new release should be uploaded. Anyway, you need to play this or you are missing an awesome Doom experience. 5/5 - NightFrightx

4/5 Stars. Too much use of Revenants in earlier levels. Been playing this on normal, but it sucks getting chased around by 3 or 5 of those seeker missles constantly. Other then that, the 4 stars stands for this true Doom Two map set! Thank you!x

It's like it was made by a team!!! This PERFECT!!!!!!!!!! - 100/5!x

Good fun for a great round of multiplayer survival mode on ZDaemon or Skulltag. The maps are at that sweet spot where they are not too complex/detailed or too small/ugly. 4/5x

good design, but too easy for the most part. 2/5x

Good mapset, but some maps don't have nearly enough health.x

An all around excellent product with lots of "tough but fun" maps and only very few unpleasant levels (23, 25 and ESPECIALLY 30; I'm looking at all of you). Great classic design and enemy placements, little flagrant "gotchas" and good flow add up to something worthwhile.x
Anonymous
Very good stuff. All maps flow really good, and there are alot of different and cool ideas throughout the maps. I dont know exactly what it is..I just cant put my finger on it, but I can`t give this a 5*, so 4* it is. Great work.x

Thank you very much for this WAD, it was challenging and enjoyable without going over the top with special effects. 5 stars, hands down.x

Possibly my favourite one man megawad ever. Many hours of solid gameplay, nice visuals and good BGM to keep you happy and enough of a challenge to keep you engaged. This finished project is definitely worth playing 5* -Phobusx

Awesome, lots of good fun here with some frustrating moments (namely arch-viles out in the open) but all in good fun. ~vfx

Maps are beyond excellent buy say thanks to Paul Corfiatis' arrogance for screwing up a perfect megawad. 4/5x

This is 5 stars material but I'll give 4 stars only because music mainly sucks ass.x
Anonymous
Very-very good. A bit simple, but sweet, just the way I like it. 5 stars.x

4/5 Cool megawad. The architecture is probably too bare at times, yet again those are mostly speedmaps. Keep making maps Jimmy, I think this is your best release as of yet.x
Anonymous
Tough levels, both play-wise and in design. Created by a mapper with skills and a good sense of the balance between modern fun and old-school dooming mayhem. Doesn't try and blow you away visually, just solidly keeps the thrills and surprises to keep you constantly on your toes. 5/5x

Worth no less than 5 stars. 32 fun maps and some nice new music, an excellent megawad by a great guy in James. Just letting you know that there is a mistake in the .txt file and that I wrote the music used in MAP20. -Pcorfx

Great one man megawad, at least as good as Reverie if not better.x
Anonymous
I really like it. The architecture is often simple and square, but the monster and item placement really take advantage of the environment. A lot of fun! 5/5x

Excellent ! What are you waiting for ? Download NOW !x

OK, again...those early new maps still very good and I have fun... the later new maps still falling to Map09-11 in part 1, except Map20, it looking funny so I like it(but not so much)... 5 new musics sounds very good too, nice work. 4.5/5, minus half point for some boring designs. :p -playerlinx

5/5 very hard but fun!!x
Anonymous
Clean, but surely too clean... there is not the "special" thing which makes you want to see more, to get 100% kills or 100% of the secrets. Architecture is detailed but has nothing remarquable. All in all, a decent set of maps, but very far from the best wads I've played, even if the author seems to have worked kinda hard !x
Anonymous
Great level design. But the huge amount of revenants ruined it for me. It just made it way too frustrating and not fun anymore by the end.x
Anonymous
Good stuff. Great gameplay. 5/5 - Zalewax

I agree with the previous poster. Overall: solid maps, and absolutely worth a play (at least 1-8), but not legendary. So well done, and a deserved 4/5.x
Anonymous
Map01-08 are very good. But I'm disappointing on later maps(09-11), I feels boring on Map09 because those switches hunting... Map10 is a long cave level with long boring fights for me... Map11, well it's not so bad but...well, I just don't like it. :p Nice work for speedmapping but I won't give this 5, sorry. :) 4/5 -playerlinx

Outstanding. I can't believe that most of these were speedmaps; they're great, look nice and play well. Highly recommended. 5/5 - ZZx

Really great wad! Anyone who likes Doom owe it to themselves to play this. 5/5x
Anonymous
High quality design, but nothing really spectacular. Most maps are too linear and there is no surprising moments. It is just okay, nothing special. This wad is similar to Simplicity, but not so stylish. 3 stars from me.x

Easily in the top 5 projects so far this year - if part 3 makes it then a for sure cacoward. Some maps are harder than others and the difficulty curve may be a wee bit too low for the truely experienced player, but by no menas in that enough to impede a full 5 stars.x

Outstanding set of maps. A must. 5/5 -MegaDoomer, testerx
