|Zen3001||interresting and enjoyable concept im just got kinda bored of it||x|
|Dynamo||Absolutely legendary wad that pushes the Doom gameplay to astonishing new realms. A collection of clever puzzle challenges requiring you to kill cyberdemons in various ways without using weapons to progress, Cyberdreams is simply one of the best wads ever made, even if sometimes it can be slightly unfair and even if it plays nothing like the classic Doom. Don't do the grave mistake on skipping this one. 5/5||x|
|Tifosi 92||Reminded me, in multiple ways, of Chip's Challenge. Old-school puzzle gaming at its fined. Loved it.||x|
|antares031||You can kill tons of Cyberdemons without BFG. Innovative stuff indeed. 5/5 ||x|
|Combinebobnt||Original idea and fantastic in execution||x|
|A.R.V||Could you add a co-operative version of the wad please?||x|
|Anonymous||Of all the concept wads that completely deviate from standard Doom gameplay routines this is definitely one of the stronger ones, especially considering its release time (1998). Definitely should be tried at least, unless you just can't stand a different type of gameplay from standard Doom. Good concept, reasonably well executed.||x|
|Anonymous||meh....I really don't get it....||x|
|Anonymous||I enjoyed everything about this wad and can't wait for the sequel. Whoever gives this a 0 or a 1 should not be playing DOOM.||x|
youre joking. Please tell me ur joking.
For those who want a sequel, look up Cyberdreams 2 community project
This wad doesn't deserve 0/5. What's wrong with u?!
|blackthrones||Amazing. I'm hooked.||x|
|Obsidian||FINALLY finished it! An excellent innovative challenge that I would recommend to anyone. 5 stars. - Obsidian||x|
|Anonymous||great idea, people continue to amaze me with what new life can be given to Doom after all these years||x|
|Anonymous||One of the best and most original WADS ever created. Every DOOM player, experienced or not, will get a new perspective on the game after playing Cyberdreams. 5 stars. Wish there were more like this. ||x|
|Anonymous||In theory, it just sounds utterly ridiculous - "solve puzzles while dodging dozens of rockets at a time". In practice, it's simply ridiculous fun. Doom was never designed as a puzzle game, so the fact that this concept is as playable and addictive as it is speaks for itself, and it's pretty damn challenging too. A necessity for any player who's "been there, done that" when it comes to thrashing the shit out of conventional 'super-hard' WADs. 5*.||x|
|Anonymous||A very creative and neat WAD. Don't expect the Plutonia like 1000 monsters on the first level syndrome.. But do expect just as much fun and retries... As unique and entertaining this WAD is, you will encounter more Cyberdemons than you wished for, and by the end of it you won't enjoy being blown up for the 7783921st time. If that doesn't bother you though, give this a try, because it will become one of the best Megawads you've ever played.. 9.5/10
|Anonymous||crap like all concept wad||x|
|Anonymous||Gives the player a series of hard challenges that get harder every level.
Very well designed, and fun.
|Anonymous||A very original concept, those cyberdemons and their crazy ways to kill the player in creative yet calculating ways. Good job my good sirs.||x|
|Anonymous||I remember playing this back in 2002. It was old back then, and it's still awesome. :)||x|
|Anonymous||5/5 Legendary wad, obviously.||x|
|Anonymous||Shit. This doesn't fucking work with AEoD. Everything kills me just instantly. Vomit.
(I'm kidding. No other word than Legendary can describe this. Just don't run it with AEoD, which is a great wad, but only separately from this.)||x|
|Anonymous||You did an excellent job with this wad. =D 5/5||x|
|Anonymous||hard as hell, i love a good challenge!||x|
|Anonymous||Very mind-puzzling. Took me a while to complete MAP30. Boy, this was one hard WAD to complete. Also very creative. Good job! 5/5 - TehRandomKill||x|
|Anonymous||This is amazing!||x|
|Anonymous||Very funny jokewad 5/5||x|
|Anonymous||Great, incredibly innovative, definately one of the best WADs ever made. Most of the maps are very clever, but map 31 in particular truly stands out, it's pure genius.
5 thumbs way up!||x|
|Anonymous||Not like of map29 (cyberdemons not atack and move)
Map 30 have many Cyberdemons my pc not Support more monsters (Erro not memory) 4/5||x|
|Anonymous||By far the most unique megawad out there. A very innovative and clever idea. 5/5||x|
|Anonymous||It's ok. Good idea but 32 maps of switchunts, crushers and telefrags gets repetitious. Some good demos on SDA if you can't figure one out.||x|
|Anonymous||interesting but too impossible making it frustrating to play. only tried it for 1min. might try another minute but I doubt any more. ||x|
|Anonymous||This absolutely NEEDS A sequel!||x|
|Anonymous||Really good wad! 5/5!||x|
|Anonymous||You talk about puzzle-oriented wads and this comes up! Everything in the design department is really basic, but that's not what this is for. It's for figuring out ways to overcome obstacles (in the form of Cyberdemons) and it sure kept my brain going!||x|
|Anonymous||Excellent. 5/5 - Grounder||x|
|Anonymous||Very original and momentaly hard. I give first time 5 starts on this site ;) Good work
|Anonymous||5/5 for orginality best wad i played for a while it is almost more like a puzzle game using doom's formula then a fps yeh sure you hav the pistol and all but against the cyberdemon no chance... i would recommand it to anyone wanting a kind of different experience then your standard doom game ||x|
|Anonymous||Pretty damn impressive.||x|
|Anonymous||flat-out awesome wad, great concept, but will someone PLEASE tell me how to beat MAP30??||x|
|Anonymous||Good idea, cool mapping tricks, but design is too mockery and many levels/actions is too repetitive. *** /hth||x|
|Anonymous||This liiks like fun to play with a charictor mod like the mario or sempsons mod! Looking forward to some fun!!!!! Ive been looking for a good challenge!!!!!||x|
|Anonymous||was alot funner when i was younger and shit my pants whenever i herd a ciberdemon walking around||x|
|Anonymous||This is absolutely boring! If you actually struggle through this, then you shouldn't be playing.
In a nutshell, you find a way to kill cybers w/o using ammo... this is extremely easy in this! I'm moving onto something else thats harder.||x|
|Anonymous||It's certainly innovative, but it can get grueling after a while. 3/5||x|
|Anonymous||Clever as shit. Very clever shit, in particular. 5/5||x|
|Anonymous||Perhaps the best thing I've played in doom. 5/5||x|
|Anonymous||lol its like jigsaws puzzles with cyberdemons||x|
|Anonymous||This is probably the most original Wad I have ever seen. WAY better than those like "i throw 200 monstars and u have a pistol lolol". Five Stars from Dark_Zero.||x|
|Anonymous||Hey, this is really brilliant!||x|
|Anonymous||WOW. this takes a lot of intellegence to complete without cheats or coop. the person who posted 5 places before me is just too half-assed to try anything other that straightforward shooting. he sounds like my older brother. XD
5/5 from fighter.
"i play skulltag"||x|
|Anonymous||A very good mega wad 5/5 frustrating but I love that||x|
|Anonymous||Boring, repetitive, nothing redeeming.
|Anonymous||Nice work! This set of levels has made for good practice dodging those missiles, if nothing else! :D
Also, I really liked stage 29 "The way to God's Manna." The stage looked great and the floating tracks were very well executed.||x|
|Anonymous||One of the best wads i've ever played... just great!||x|
|Anonymous||5/5 Great fun. MAP30 had me gawping like an idiot - amazing level.||x|
|Anonymous||Ahead of its time, hehe! 5/5||x|
|Anonymous||Rumor has it that a certain ZDoom bug in MAP17 gave birth to cybie.wad...but maybe these are just rumors...btw, 5/5 -Maes||x|
|Anonymous||Very nice idea. 5/5||x|
|Anonymous||Great 5/5. One of the most fun wads I ever played. I like wads like these. I just can't figure out how to beat level 3. "The Bridge Between"||x|
|Anonymous||one of the most inventive doom2 wads ever made. high five :) - lord_record||x|
|Anonymous||Best wad ever||x|
|Anonymous||A original idea||x|
|Anonymous||I love Cyberdemons!, and I loved this wad from start to finish, it was a brilliant idea. Nearly every monster is a Cyberdemon. A rating of 5 out of 5! -PC||x|
|Anonymous||Just fighting Cyberdemons... =(||x|
|Anonymous||love it. 5/5 Admiral Xolzo.||x|
|Anonymous||The concept wad to end all concept wads.||x|
|Anonymous||i may be able to beat final doom but this is insainly hard i meen holy shit on fire.
i cant even get any where.
MAKE MORE PLEASE THIS ROCKS.
if i could make maps like that i would.
make a second cydreams or make an intire serise of them for poeple the enjoy.
i could have alot of fun with these pluse i'm deturmined to beat it without cheats.||x|
|Anonymous||Engaging. Truly original. A milestone in the history of third party wads.||x|
|Anonymous||Aw, forget it. These little ways of killing cybers are very cute and clever and all, but this is Doom. I want killing and frays and twisted metal.||x|
|Anonymous||Really Awsome,Original and Challenging i just love this WAD||x|
|Anonymous||You are frikkin awesome! I just had a thought, make levels full of different monsters and you have to use tricks to kill them all! ;)||x|
|Anonymous||Five stars. Gets a bit monotonous after a while - you spend a lot of time flicking switches sequentially whilst under cyberdemon fire - but it's one of a tiny number of puzzle-style levelsets that successfully transforms Doom into something it isn't. There were lots of Doom-as-puzzle-game wads in the early days, presumably designed by old Zork fans, but this is one of the few that actually works and entertains.||x|
|Anonymous||***** An incredible levelset. Very creative, very challenging. Great job. Hope there's gonna be an Archviledreams! ;-)||x|
|Anonymous||There's more than one way to skin a Cyberdemon.||x|
|Anonymous||Incredibly innovative, great effort! One of the best wads ever.||x|
|Anonymous||Marvelous and legendary, much more innovative that many source port wads out there and all made using only standard Doom2.exe stuff. 5 stars.||x|
|Anonymous||Great wad, very innovative||x|
|Anonymous||A beautiful megawad with the perfect amount of difficulty. I hope to see Cyberdreams 2 some time soon.||x|
|Anonymous||Amazing wad, the most original one I've ever played. Great stuff! 5/5||x|
|Anonymous||Played this years ago and I still love it. Someone needs to make a Zcyberdreams||x|
|Anonymous||When I first downloaded this wad and I played it, I really thought that this was impossible but I got the hang of it. The author really made you think about what to do. My only complaint is that it is pretty hard. 9/10 Great wad!||x|
|Anonymous||if u have a fetish with cyberdemon this is a wad for also it hurts my brain thep uzzles are to hard but 5 stars :D||x|
|Anonymous||I loved it. The last level was kind of lame, but the rest of it was quite fun. I too love regular games, but this was a most excellent change of pace.||x|
|Anonymous||5 stars, legendary and original.||x|
|Anonymous||I gave it five stars. I've never seen anything like this in the 1,000 + (something like that) wads I've ever played. Oh, and to the guy who wondered if you have to kill the cyber in the first level with a pistol, telefrag his ass.||x|
|Anonymous||Really loved it. Having problems running it but thats the computer not the wad. Harder than hell but worth it! So cool, so much fun.||x|
|Anonymous||An ingeanious set of levels! The ways the creator found to kill the cybers is amazing! 5 stars baby!
|Anonymous||Very fresh. Sometimes too challenging. Lacks depth and fun factor. 3 stars.||x|
|Anonymous||Beat it in one sitting, and it was well worth my time. Love the last level.||x|
|Anonymous||This Wad is AWESOME! Through the lack of weapons and ammo, and the pistol your only choice. The traps, cunning skills and dodgings will prove better otherwise than weapons. The traps are set up good and it's up to you to get them right. Good work! I'm impressed! 10/10||x|
|Anonymous||A good waay to test your wits, pretty fun too. The drawback is, it is gay to play on cooperative. ||x|
|Anonymous||Whilst this is definetly a very original wad, it is also extremely tough and at times really frustrating. The levels aren't very detailed but I guess that isn't the point. If you are looking for an intresting wad and are getting tired of the standard fare than take a look. I give it 3 Stars as I really do enjoy more traditional wads but you should at the very least take a look.
|Anonymous||Very original, very great, very alternative idea,. but gets 3 stars anyways because I want to play regular maps and this is sooo hard..||x|
|Anonymous||Yeah, yeah, yeah. Not bad for a WAD made in '98.||x|
|Anonymous||Awesome idea, i like stuff with different approach. However, I think difficulty is sometimes too high, even if you know how to do the level, i.e. level with circular corridor, two cyberdemons and shootable switches - before you turn all switches on, cybers will shoot off your ass - there is no place to avoid their rockets, corridor is too narrow. So, it's highly innovative and interesting, but sometimes frustrating 4/5 -- Brun Ohn||x|
|Anonymous||Very unique, to say the least.||x|
|Anonymous||exactly as the rating says, legendary||x|
|Anonymous||This is one of the most innovative things I've ever seen in my entire life! This wad brings a whole new twist to what doom is all about. Whoever made this wad is a genius!||x|
|Anonymous||One of the most intelligent WAD:s out there. Some maps will just seem impossible to you at first, until you realise you actually have to *sit down* and *think* about how you can complete them. Just don't take too long or you'll be having rockets for dinner! High marks for originality. A minor drawback is that it becomes a bit repetitive if you play too many maps in one sitting. --4/5||x|
|Anonymous||Holy fecking crap. I've been looking for a challenge like this for AGES. Please tell me CYBERDREAMS 2 is in the making...||x|
