Description: The first level can be played in single player mode, but is also a good Deathmatch level with lots of interconnecting rooms so the players always meet. The second level is primarily for single player with lots of architectural puzzles rather than enemies to fight. Neither are terribly difficult by today's standards, BTW.

Bugs: In the second level, there are three switches behind locked doors which affect the same object. If you try to flip one of the switches more than once, the other two stop working. (which makes the level impossible) I have no idea why this is, or how to fix it, but if you flip the switches just once, there shouldn't be any problems.

These two levels are dated March 2003, although they look vintage 1994. Map01 is too fiddly for deatchmatch, and not much fun single-player, although the layout is inventive for the period (the map gradually becomes more open-plan). There's a decent lot of monsters. Map02 is better; marred by a dark flashing maze and a teleporter that sticks you under a crushing ceiling, but the puzzles are surprisingly fun and it had enough action to amuse me.x
Considering this map was _made_ some time ago, and also considering this is one of the author's first maps, I'd say it's almost legendary, but not quite there. If the author were to make any map with today's standards, he would be a great artist. The levels themself show some inventive interconnectivity which actually made me want to keep playing. ****x
