So, you have lost interest in Doom, eh? My own waxes & wanes.

Looks like everyone else has too (or at least in EDGE....).

That level wowed the socks off of me i just spent forever on it even thought there were no critters or whatnot =P

Agreed, that's one of the best maps I've played all year.

ran too slow to enjoy it.

Now THAT's eye candy. Hope EDGE makes it past this rough patch, it'd be horrible to have it die when it's capable of this.

Anyway, whatever happened to the bot code? Last I tried typing "idbot", I'd get a message that one joined, but it never appeared.

Ouch! I ran EDGE w/ -bots 2 -players 3, & what a disappointment. The awful deathbot was better than this.

Bot code should work at all, other than the message that a death bot was spawned.

It's been disabled for some time, awaiting a major rewrite (same as network code).

It does work, sort of, if you use -bots & -players. They spawn & respawn properly, but they don't roam very well, & they spin like a top--something I haven't seen since one of the older cajuns. They don't fire unless fired upon, & if you respawn they will ignore you again.
