Well. Have I commented on Deepsea? All I ever did was "defend" my editor of choice from you un called for attacks. After that you didn't only keep offending my editor. You also started to offend me. By claiming I was unwilling to learn.

You know my "impression" to flamers rises to about a .001 on my list of relevant topics. I (don't) respect their kind. You misstate the saving thing - he did indeed lie. Too bad that everybody get's so upset. John Anderson (if you know who he is), did exactly the same thing. I shut him up in exactly the same way. It's easy to prove or disprove.

That guy said that saving with DEEP made a PWAD that could not be read by DETH. From that basis he claimed it destroyed, but only from the POV of editing it with DETH. It could still be read by DEEP. Do you believe that? Is that easy to prove or disprove? Methinks he made a poopie and wasn't mature enough to admit it. Notice that he avoided the question like the plague. See how you failed to pick up on what was to me the obvious.

Yup, I'm damn confident when I argue - probably a bit too direct - just the way I am. But that's not the same as arrogance. You can see arrogance in the 2 forum mods (although Julian backed off a bit in the last post) and most of the flamers. Arrogance is when one challenges a guy who just told you he rewrote the code, therefore he knows it has bugs.

OTOH, I KNOW for a fact that DETH did destroy pwads. In fact, I put a special lockout in there to keep other editors away from a PWAD DeePsea has open because that was happening and I got blamed. God it really amazes me the lack of understanding in these threads.

What is not classy is DOOMWORLD forum hosts jumping in there and doing what they did. Now that SUCKS and is very very cheesy. You know who they are.

By accident I got the url from the cache before you sent it. But Doomworld MYSQL server is very sick. It's throwing all sorts of error messages on my screen. I think that's how I lost my ID (well I hope that was the reason). You better tell someone.

I don't care about the paying thing. When I say I enjoy toying with the replies, that's exactly what I mean. It's fun to twist their words back at them and show them how contradictory it all becomes. Yup, I'm just one SOB. Besides, I'm way too old to change now. Don't tell.

Let not get in a tech hissie. New / replacement graphics. How exactly do you want to phrase it? Jesus bejeezus. The graphics were modified here and there, some were original (LOOK don't assume from a few) and so on. Like the money.

You can "allege" all you want. For the time period it was made it, many areas were maxed for visi. Sounds like maybe you've never played with stock DOOM much? You just can't get much intricate detail on the old engine. Now I would add a lot more.

First off, Im no liar, I had levels started in DEU (not DETH) a friend gave me a copy of shareware deep to try, it screwed up two wads, I tried to load them back into DEU but couldnt. The two wads stayed on a floppy until recently when I finished them in DETH. Go back and read the fucking post properly, its a shorter version but says much the same and is 100% true. I have a witness who also has nothing to gain from this silly debate with a dememnted egotistical plonker.

Like I said this is EASY to prove. SAVE it in DeeP and read it in DEU. IT WORKS. OH my GOD I never thought of trying THAT.
