    Parallel Extinction

    The Parallel Team site has been updated with quite a short and mysterious news post: The Extinction is coming.... The sentence links to a page with an introduction story for this single-player only, story-based partial conversion which uses Zdoom as its engine. The concept behind the project is said to be non-traditional and 3 out-standing screenshots are given for the proof. Last, but not least, the release of the first chapter is announced for September this year.

    I like the detail in this one, The screenies are great.
    I'll bet we all love to play it in Sept.

    The "revamped PD1" level is unfortunately lost from our hard drives, so *takes a sobbing, deeply moved voice* it will never see the light of the day!!

    We are, however, preparing to release a single-player level before The Extinction: Chapter I. It should be finished next month and it will be a sort of one-level prologue to The Extinction.

    So we are happy to announce that we'll have 2 releases in the next 4 months!! :)
