I guess you've seen the lego starwars figures, the darth maul was funny. Imagine if lego did a range of doom themed figures (imps, troopers, etc), then imagine if someone created these figures as sprites. That'd be cool.

Then imagine that peron being carted off to a padded cell...;-)

Actually........the idea of a DOOM Lego set might not be far off, with the current DOOM craze and all (Collector's DOOM and GBA to be coming out soon, along with DOOM III in the making)

Jon, that shot is pretty impressive, especially in its trueness to the lego pieces. I have a couple lego guys on top of my computer monitor, actually - One of them looks like that green one, only he's black instead. Do you have one of the imp to the doomguy's right? I'd be interested to see it.

by the way, "russel", u really should start a lego tc. with like 5 different worlds (replacing the doom2 episodes) and just simple sprites and stuff since lego grafx shouldnt be hard to make. it sounds like the most refreshing idea for a tc to me anyway, i mean 5 different worlds damnit, it wouldve been better then even batman doom

Around the time you were away on holiday this summer, mr. wanklenght was very busy posting crap in the news threads. Suddenly he starts to act like all of that shit never happened, but stuff dosn't work quite that way. For him to expect any kind of respect from the people who post here, would be daft. Greetings everyone, I've always visited this site on a regular basis, and Doom has always been a classic. So, hello everyone :-D.

This lego thing looks cool, so, where can you download this? as for sprites and stuff, maybe someone could rip stuff from the lego game's, maybe? but it's definately a good ide afor a lego TC. Oh yeah, also check out the 9th gate, I do the music for it and two of the levels, it's gonna be quite good when it's finished (Is promotion allowed? :-D).

Actually there's already a Lego TC with all new sprites... I think it was hosted by Frag.com back when.. Dunno if there's any files on the web of it still. I would upload it if I still had it...

i only started designing this level to entertain my kids (it'll probably be a single/co-op level). Not the most detailed architecture i'll agree, but i've had great fun designing it so far. it's not finished yet, so there is no download link atm.
