    Putting the E in ACSE


    A new version of the Eternity Engine has been released. 3.40.25 "Midgard" includes a new ACS interpreter by David Hill which brings Eternity's support for the scripting language up to par with ZDoom's. Also new are flying players and walkcams, a further enhanced "cooldemo" mode, many new EDF features, better support for widescreen video modes, and a large number of optimizations for blazing fast action.     I assume I'll now be able to resume my levels and monsters which depended on Small scripting to use ACS instead. This should be interesting.
