And yes, everytime someone leaks something I will post this comic. Each and every time until you ARE ALL SO UTTERLY SICK OF THE SIGHT OF IT that no one will leak anything ever again, thus solving the problem.

this really sucks. 2 projects that people are working their butts off to bring us and some jackass has the grand idea to steal them. this is one of the things that really pisses me off nowadays. I hope stuff like this stops, and I dont care whether or not it happens in my lifetime, as long as this crap stops.

To all those saying Action DooM will be delayed because of the hacking action, ill just remind you that what was leaked is what Scuba Steve has, nothing more and nothing less, so its pretty good to understand it wasnt finished yet.
Also I'd like to point out the April [1st] release was one big fake by Scuba Steve. Ever tried to kill the end boss ? Notice that it has Newdoom printed on the wall ?

To everyone saying this is no Beta: I'd like to point out that THIS is what you wanted Scuba Steve to release upon the doom community, theres no such thing as a much better release on Scuba's Hard Drive!

To Scuba: I suggest you stop lying to your fans about how much was stolen/compromised, or I'll have to release everything just to prove my point. And you know what you got, as I do.

Ok, now I'm really starting to doubt the legitimacy of this. All of these sound ridiculously familiar. Scuba Steve's original posting reads almost verbatim in style for Valve's statement after the HL2 leak and now Ralphis' reply sounds exactly like the reply that the AnonymousLeaker posted on the Steam forums when Valve claimed that the Leaker only got a hold of an unplayable early alpha version and not the full source. The Leaker then released a compiled version of the source and a playable version of the game. All this sounds a little too close... If it's not a fake, then something's really wrong with this community. If it is, it's a nice joke, but as said, it's a few days late...

This is very real, I downloaded it from Nanami's mancubus.net webspace. It was titled 'newaction.zip'. I told Manc about it on IRC, and he told me I wasn't supposed to see it, then he took it off.

If this is real and such a serious issue, then why the heck are there links to stupid images in the news post? If this is real and Steve is upset by the whole episode, then they're completely inconsiderate and inappropriate. If this isn't real, then like I said whoever came up with this idea is a bit late.

Doesn't that seem a little too coincidental? Either this is being done in really bad taste or this is a well executed joke. Either way, it's hard to believe that you guys are being so naive about this. You can just ignore these similarities...

And on top of that... who in their right mind would think that scuba@steve.com is a real email address? If he was really trying to get help, his email addy would be all over these posts...
