The Team brings you here nearly two years on from where it all began, and we'd like to thank you so much for making all this possible. We gained an incredibly huge cult following consisting of all sorts of players, reporting in each and every week from all corners of the globe. From there, we knew we struck gold, however we also knew we would have to get creative to make each session just as fun as the previous to keep you addicts happy. We've rolled out some of the most memorable and hilariously intense sessions in Doom multiplayer. We've taken ZDaemon to a whole different level, causing the discovery and fixing of plenty of nasty bugs; sparking brilliant feature suggestions to further improve the player experience that have since been implemented; and showing everybody else just how far you can take the engine's capabilities.
What started as an idea from a competitive player forced out of the scene due to internet connectivity issues, evolved into the most popular Doom event there is. As time went by, we've fought our way through many wads, exploring the maps with speed during standard rotations, slowing down and often breaking a bit of sweat during pain rotations, and then relaxing again during some late night craziness; but most importantly, we've had a blast each time.
So ready your weapons and put that bloody grin on your face once again as we tackle The Ultimate Doom this time - Nightmare style! And after that, for a cup of something different, a switch to Kama Sutra might be at hand - settings and mods decided on the spot.
Now, here's to you; to everyone who helped along the way, to all our friends who we see almost every Thursday, to those who come from time to time, and even to those of you who are yet to discover TNS this Thursday. Be there, and make history with us. For the one hundredth time.
