I have found a backup of the main website files on my hard drive and I have been able to upload that and also I found a copy of my index.php for my wordpress page with all my custom code therein and uploaded that. I put in a support request at hosting24.com for them to restore my data from the weekly backup but I will have to wait and see what happens there. I have heard that if your website goes over a certain amount of visitors, they will punish you, but if their infrastructure is as good as they say, that is BS. At least hostgator are upfront on how many processes are running on your server and provide SSH access. That is cool. Having a limit on the number of visitors on the website, when they advertise unlimited bandwidth. But they can die in a fire. Even if you are paying a budget price for hosting, your visitors and users should be able to access your website without having to refresh the page five times to get the page to load as one of my users reported.
Anyway, Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, Happy Hanukka Et Cetera.
Merry Christmas to all and a hellish Dooming New Year.
