I've considered making one in spanish (actually "porteño", the slight variation we speak here), but it would require changing every menu entry... maybe I'd change even the command line stuff and loading info, for kicks.

I have this crazy idea to start an entire Doom translation project, but I had my doubts as to whether I could get enough people interested. Anyone else interested in doing some translations? The menu graphics could probably be autogenerated (if we put together a complete "alphabet" of all the characters)

By the way, EDGE seems to have translations for several languages (french, spanish, german, dutch, swedish, finnish). Might be a good starting point.
