What he meant is, that you can't get behind the enemy by circlestrafing around, because the enemies always look directly at you.

That Nazi Pulp stuff is far older than video games and animes itself, be it nazis in comics in the 30s, nazi exploitation movies like Ilsa, or the gulag-porn from Israel from the 60ies.

But he does not play it on the GBA, instead he is using the GBA-AddOn for the Gamecube, as you can see he is playing with an Gamecube gamepad.

I forgot to take it with me, last time i ripped and teared through hell. Would you kindly return it to me? Thanks.

Scary enemies in nostalgic games that made you quit the game
cybdmn replied to unerxai's topic in Everything Else
The Librarians in Metro 2033. I wasn‘t scared really, but frustrated. These Goliaths are completely overpowered, if one of them get you, chances that you die are at minimum 80%. Add to that that you are rather low on ammo, when you meet them. I tried numerous times to get past them, and couldn‘t survive the last three of them. I quit, and never tried again. They destroyed the whole game for me. -
You are right, they should have hired M.C. Escher to design their environment.

In posthell there was a photograph of him in the left upper corner, right beside the doomworld logo. This have nothing to do with the music, which is another story.

Yeah, we want to see Fredrik Johansson again.

The Unity Port Thread - PS/Xbox/Switch/IOS/Android

At least with the noclip cheat you can enter the limbo. -
You are wrong, boomers don't hate lower class people, because even boomers could be one of them. Maybe boomers just hates you, because you are one of these arrogant smart asses, who think you have seen it all while you just started your own life, while the boomers have already more than half of their lifetime behind, and have experienced all the shit you still have to see yourself. It is really funny, that you mention, that all boomers do is complaining, in a thread where people like you don't do anything else as complaining.

Fate, maybe, if there where more than just a demo released. But seriously? Don't know, but it is a shame that this poll misses Redneck Rampage, for it have the most dense atmosphere of all Build games.

Ah, okay. I was under the impression it was one of the four official novels. -

The cover of a hungarian release of one of the Doom novels. -
Maybe you should read to understand. None of any other version of the game offer this kind of graphics.
-
I wouldn't call them unplayable, but none of them present anything special, with the exception of the Jaguar and the Playstation versions. The graphics differ very much from the PC original, and all other console ports.

“What the !@#%* is this!” - A Comprehensive Doom 64-based Analysis and Call to Action
cybdmn replied to Revenant100's topic in Console Doom
According to how the Unmaker should have worked as described in the Doom Bible, none. https://doomwiki.org/wiki/Doom_Bible However, concepts like this changes in the process of development. The question is, did the Doom64 developers knew about that weapon concept, and tried to come up with something at least optically similar? -
I haven't tried D3D or SW, just a quick start with Blood.
-
Started Blood with Raze. I havn't actually played, i just moved around a bit, killing the first three enemies, and quit. That's it.

As far as i always understood the Saturn tech, VDP1 was thought as kind of an graphics accelerator (for sprites and stuff), and VDP2 was thought for background only, because it was never developed as a "3D machine". This worked great for jump 'n runs, or games like Virtua Fighter, and maybe would have worked for Doom too, if only John Carmack hadn't vetoed.
-
On the Mac it is actually ~/Documents/Raze For Duke it is ~/Documents/Raze/Duke3d For blood it is ~/Documents/Raze/Blood The Raze App can be in what ever folder you like, be it in Applications or on your Desktop, does not make any difference. I just started Blood to take a quick look, it runs smooth, but without sound. At least at my machine.

You forgot that bunny-hopping-like bobbing view when moving around. :-D -

That's what i read from others too. Given the fact that the source may be incomplete or just a snapshot, the question-worthy license topic, and the amount of work to fix even the biggest bugs and gameplay issues, i don't think it's worth the time. -
I give up. You have won, you are clearly much more clever than the actual developers, they should have asked you to do the ports.
-
And i don't understand why you refuse to understand, that faster on paper does not mean software (especially if the system is completely new to the developers) runs perfectly optimized. As i told you before, the Saturn hardware was a rather complex mixture of various processors with various clockspeed, and they had to optimize the code for kind of SMP, which was usually needed for big server stuff at that time, far less programmers had any expertise or experience in this field. We still talking about the mid-90ies, not today, where even your fucking phone has a multicore processor with an operating system optimized for it, and plenty of APIs you can use. We talk about a piece of hardware, where the programmers had to crawl deep into the hardware documentations to optimize their code. The Saturn is like your car with two engines, and a turbo loader, which you aren't allowed to use, and that's what happened to Saturn Doom.

Was it the source released by Les Bird? As far as i remember, he didn' know if his sources are the final ones, or just some older snapshots.
