    Puppy Linux

Yes its on a 1GB USB stick, connected to a USB 2.0 PCI card on my old P4. Faster than Windows running on a hard disk on a faster PC. It does everything I need it to do on the machine, internet, email, graphic edit on "The Gimp", messing about with Python.

I've got it installed on a 1GB USB thumb drive, it boots faster on my old P4 PC than Windows on my new hardware. It is might cool.

    The Fall of Newdoom

I discovered I already signed up here many moons ago as "big_al" but as you do I've forgotten the password and the email account I registered with is no longer active. Sad to see NewDoom go, but to be honest it has been dying on its feet for a long time.
