    MAP05: Now the level changes theme again from the TEKGREN to a plutonia brick map style, i suppose this is the way this map pack was concept by the good old (?) Matt Tropiano. Anyway, level starts to be a bit more harder here (although when i started this one i have already killed 15 of 190+ monsters in HMP when i was the courtyard... However the is centered on the above known court and this tower that hides a important artifact for the mission (in our case, the blue keycard), place is surrounded by corridors and stairs that leads to another staircase plataform that you can reach via jump, making it looking similar to Doom 2 MAP11 or even better to the Yellow Key (if i remember good) circular section before the exit of Eviltion's MAP03... Whatever the puzzles is very nice and easily understandable (don't read the spoiler if you don't want to know how to find secrets in this map!) Also this corridor section here reminds me of Plutonia MAP01 mechanics somewhat... Reached MAP05 and died like a stupid.... Saved after my death without guns, yay!

    MAP04: i liked this map! First, the layout is still straight-forward but there's more un-linearity than the first, fast maps, and difficulty is like in map03, but more focused on layout puzzling nature with various traps and secrets here and there and less slaughtermap-ish than the map above... if I'm being picky there's some thing i don't liked like here needs more texture homogeneity and if here will be added a little light that hitting the above wall in a little part (well, if i was me i'll did it in that way...) it could be looking much more cooler, anyway is still a cool map, best of the bunch so far... Oh, and the ammo problem i've wrote for map03 Reached the entrance of map05 and saved at that point... EDIT: @Melon, checked on doom builder and the texture you quoted is TEKGREN actually....

    So, midnight is passed from 7 minutes here in the old continent, and so... MAP03: Now stuff become serious. The monster count raises hardly from the 30/40 monsters to the 90/100 monsters in this level on HMP. Level itself is a remake of TNT's MAP02 (somewhat looked a "switchroom" version of it remake in plutonia style...) And the map layout is fast and easily navigable as the above maps in the pack, gameplay is a bit harder than the above maps, in some parts i found myself with scarce ammo, but nothing too dangerous (i play this in continous way). However another cool map.... Also started and saved at 4th map start like yesterday....

    Ah, i want to play the coffee break mapset for so long! Anyway hello to all, i'm Walter, and this is my first time here on the megawad club! So let's start with my impression on the maps (Played the first 2 maps on HMP and begun the third, saved at that point): MAP01: Fast small map in the usual way of early maps, with the difficulty of hitscanners here and there, lots of open space and clean and fast layout, i liked the "System Control" Music from TNT. MAP02: Same as above, the only change here is a much more Metal base (like map03 of original Doom 2) more than the tech base of the first map, the stairs after the door on your left in the "harbor" section (yeah that one with the red keycard door after the start, i call in that way since it reminded me the harbors of Heretic's E1M1...) are helpful against the monsters projectiles... However, detail is cool, layout is fast and easy to understand where to go, hitscanners are at they're own home here like the first map, anyaway so far i liked it and i don't found anything that dislikes me....

    dobugabumaru, your map is.. uhm unique. Best lift ever 8altought i expected something like that Half Life 2 lift mod i've seen ages ago on the insanity pit thread...) Also lets make a CAD megawad, or a fad megawad if you wish...

    Oh well, i found on youtube this: No skull'n'bones, however, maybe i'll record a gameplay of that mni-game using dosbox (since i have a copy of catacombs 3-D liying in my HDD...)

    DM Revival - MANAGEMENT HELP NEEDED

    thanks for comments, durian! i've crafted this map with a huge 1994 era dm maps in mind, but if this will not work fine i'll see to fix it (or even better give to my map the Tango treatment?)
