Oh totally, though I'd miss having mountains nearby eventually.  I'm like a polar bear when it comes to preferred temperatures.  Things are very nice in November-February for me here, not bad in October or March, but a bit too warm for my tastes other months.

The Denver area of Colorado is sweltering hot in the summer (mid 80s to low 90s with multiple 100+ days), and pretty dry.  Then it's cool in the winter (30s to 40s roughly), and in-between other months.  We get pretty good amounts of snow in the winter, and almost always have a few good snow storms that dump a foot or two.  Sometimes it can get bitter cold and well below freezing; the day I was born in 1983, it was around -20 F*.

Things change a bit in the mountains, with weather being more unpredictable, the nights being a lot cooler, and summer days being just slightly cooler, depending on elevation.

You gots to turn up the heat, lady. When I'm back home, you come visit me in Sodo during summer. That'll teach you a good lesson about "warm" weather! ;-)

Interesting! I never would have thought that Colorado got that cold.

I used to live in northern Idaho, which was pretty temperate because the ocean was just a state away. Winter days were usually 20-30 F, and summers rarely made it to the 90s. 3-4 feet of snow by late winter... good times! :-) I'd love to go back there.

Here in Wisconsin, we usually have at least one full week of subzero weather, and I've seen it get as cold as -30. Living on a farm means you have to go out in it for a couple hours a day, no matter how bad it is. Then spring comes, and the snow melts, and the rain falls, and the whole state is made of mud (and cow manure, which is very like mud). ;-)
