^I'd play this either with some weird chiptunes, or some glitch-industrial kind of sound. But spooky would also be quite fitting.

Yeah, it has a story somewhat inspired by Lovecraftian horror, so I've been writing some spooky stuff for it.  I might also include some martial-industrial, but maybe not.  There's a Quake-like start map as well that has a remix I did for E1M5.  Also some additional enemies, some of which fill the same roles as Doom monsters (but look totally different) and are used along side them, but are still included for atmosphere.

I got this thing running (among other chiptunes), when I play Doom or some danmaku shmups, I like the flow of it. n00bstar is quite a notch above the "usual" I think. Unfortunately there's no YouTube link, so bandcamp wil have to suffice:
