Liberal atheist monogamists have highest IQs
[compactSprue] replied to AndrewB's topic in Everything Else
I just noticed this but, look at the sample that the study worked from "The study looked at a large sample from the National Longitudinal Study of Adolescent Health (Add Health), which began with adolescents in grades 7-12 in the United States during the 1994-95 school year. The participants were interviewed as 18- to 28-year-olds from 2001 to 2002. The study also looked at the General Social Survey, another cross-national data collection source." having only a 10 year age group sample when voting age ranks from 18 to (infinity) is not representative. If this was a legitimate study, they would have IQ Tested people across most age groups. Of course, they didn't do that. they only interviewed the most liberal age group in the united states for their results! Just more of CNN's bullshit -
Like playing demos before deciding to buy a game? Sony says "Fuck you".

i don't see their logic behind it. would they rather piss the end user off ALL AT ONCE or just piss them off little by little until they get infuriated and all notions of buying the full game go out the window? -

i hate it when companies get greedy like this and they think that they're going to make money by taking usage rights away from the end user. it doesn't work very well, either. just ask the RIAA Why doesn't sony just sell those jampack disks they used to sell for like four dollars? i used to love those! you got like twelve demo versions, some cool videos, ect, and the best part is that it was cheap. if sony somehow implemented that digitally, or jut offered a ps3 variation of Jampack, that would make them a pretty good sum of money -

I read the headline and the first thing that came to my head was "bullshit". Maybe i'll release some overfunded study which proves that republican polygamists are more intelligent than liberal monogamists, but it wouldn't matter anyway because your intelligence level isn't dictated by your political or social beliefs. then again, that doesn't matter either because i'm smarter than everyone. -
That's what Google is good at: taking someone else's idea, adding nothing and rearranging it to make it look "simple". All Google did with that browser is remove the bottom status bar, remove the File, Edit, View, and help menus while taking the two address bars at the top and combine them into one. Bingo, best browser in the world, even though it lacks almost all of the functionality that other browsers offer, it is still considered better in most cases.

Nothing wrong with fox news unless you've never watched it

come to think of it I don't know why it scored me as authoritarian, since I think a lot of the problems that exist in the country today stem from the government being TOO authoritarian (like the EPA, for example.) I think it misunderstood me about some issues, like excessive sexual open-ness being harmful to society, where I answered that I agree. It interpreted that as "I agree and wish that a dictator would get rid of people who are sexually open", when I really meant "I agree but there's really nothing that can be done about it which doesn't violate the Constitution"

Oh wow, that chart makes me uneasy

Here's another thing I don't get: why does everyone love Google chrome? It's just basically a poor-man's Safari, only worse. It's supposed to be the most optimized browser available, but the only optimization I see is the fact that they combined the Google search bar with the address bar. Yeah, real revolutionary. Plus, the browser always gave me issues. It tended to crash on a regular basis, had trouble displaying webpages, and would even have trouble playing .GIF files (I'm serious). I used it for a while and I was so shocked and disgusted at how awful it was that I switched back to Firefox, which is equally as shitty.

Let's look at a port which REALLY needs a change in music, like 32X Doom! Better yet, lets replace it with music from the SAME SYSTEM replace e1m1 w/ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rCvW2pulO6E replace e1m2 w/ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=spEq0R5gISQ replace e1m3 w/ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XKvKOx4uIPg replace E1m4 w/ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sdm86oDcB8I and no, none of these are sonic songs. Fuck sonic.

I used them back before I knew how malicious/stupid they were and now I'm trying to switch all my shit to different companies.

I'm not the world's best musician, but I'll also crack out a few songs when I'm not busy. I am also somewhat of a Video Game historian, because I love, love, love, love, LOVE video game history. I don't know EVERYTHING yet, but I'm to the point where if you named me two consoles, I could likely tell you which one came first or which one was more powerful

Virtually everyone in your high school is 17 or younger and probably doesn't know what doom is anyway :( -

So far, the only maps I've gotten close to completing were drawn out in MSPAINT first, then blasted out in Doom Builder, and improved, improved, and so on until I think it's good enough. I've never publicly submitted my maps because frankly, there's only one which i put a lot of effort into and I don't know if it meets standards for a good map. I'll have to see

Google is just trying to become the dictator of the internet. I've mostly stopped using their shit because of their inability to program stable web apps and things like this
