Was thinking the same, I remember playing it and thinking "You know this game is actually better than 98% of the shit that's on Steam!", I wonder what's new in this release. There also needs to be a game based on Warhammer Fantasy's version of Halloween, in the lore they have an event called "Morrsleib", where every undead and chaotic creature that usually wouldn't come out during the day would go out and feast on as many humans as possible and it wasn't uncommon for entire towns to disappear as a result. ;P

The gimmick isn't so much as important to me as say for instance the layout and UI of the console, the terrible menu sounds of random kids shouting with echoing voices in the backround (just to remind you that it's a fun console), and does anyone remember the retarded move where Youtube worked for almost almost 2 years until Nintendo decided to break the website so you had to view it through a very user unfriendly app that has an awkward layout? I can't watch anything age restricted above 16 years because I still haven't found the energy to figure out how to get that age authentication process to work to log onto my Youtube profile.... there's a series of different steps you need to take involving a 12 character long pin code and you'll have to restart the process if you make a mistake... a girl I was trying to impress came over to my house and I couldn't show her any of the hilarious (tm) shitlord videos in my playlist history because I lost my watch history because their transition. Damn it Nintendo!

More Bolt Thrower appreciation!

It's impossible for me to pick one, because each one is my absolute favorite if I'm in the mood for [insert genre]. :p 90's - early 2000's stuff: Thief, Unreal, Heretic, Rune, and Castlevania series.. New stuff... Total War: Warhammer, Alice: Madness Returns, And newer platformers like the Shantae series, and Shovel Knight since they go beyond imitating the past and stand on their own with great level design, mixing old school visuals with a modern aesthetically pleasing flair, great music and both create a charming universe with likeable characters and great humor (if you have bad sense of humor like me ;P). I could write a book on what makes those two games so amazing!

Yeah man, they're the Motorhead of death metal, their "worst" album is better than most band's best albums! One of my favorite black metal albums, before it became a collection of riffs. ;P

Always LOVED the way this piece opens, so dark, majestic, epic and exciting to listen to! Combined with the second track it gives an image of a foretold and ancient evil that's revealing itself as well as the consequences that come with it.

Not the scareiest piece, but I've always loved music that combines a sense of melancholy and sadness to create something that's creepy and cold.

You play as a super humanoid protagonist that's clearly inspired by Terminator.. if you put it into context I'm pretty sure that's the exact terminology you'd hear them use when referencing us. ;P I've already beat it, about to finish it on the second difficulty, before an enemy shoots there's an exclamation mark above their heads, and exactly 0.5 second delay before they shoot, whenever a bullet hits them this timer resets to about 0.7 seconds, git gud! ;)

This game is fucking awesome... Contra blended with Quake 2's art direction for the techbase segments... the jungle episode and the guerrilla-esque gameplay gives me a big Rambo: First Blood vibe, combined with Doom's cartoonish violence, an evil protagonist that's strikingly close to Arnold from Terminator.. topped with devs that don't hide behind "retro" to half to half ass the beautiful layouts and visuals. It's a really good game, if you don't atleast check it out then you're doing youself a disservice.. there's a lot more to the game than what they advertise. It's a pity they balanced it since release, though.

Haha yeah, don't get me wrong. I love it, personally... I don't think cringe necessarily means your mind has to go numb and that you need to drink bleach to cure your headache (like what Leafy's destruction of the word "literally, and I mean LITERALLY!" did to me). It can be used deliberately for comedic effect, even if it backfires 95% of the time. ;P
