how do i use 3d middle textures?

does anybody know how to do a springpad like the ones in the skulltag d2dm5 and d2dm6 maps? i looked at it, and there's an actor hits floor thing that executes an ACS script. What is this script? TNX in advance!!

i found the ACS code from d2dm6 on the skulltag forums. just use script 1 (int force) { ThrustThingZ (0, force, 0, 0); }

can anybody tell me where i can get the ACS scripts from the skulltag stock maps?

i've looked up ACS and i think i've got something that should work but doesn't script 1 (int height) { SetActorVelocity(0,0,0,64,true,false); } what's wrong?

it works for monsters but not projectiles. i was wondering if there was a way to decompile the ACS script. i tried with the version of deacc that came with doom builder but it didn't work.

tried the thingthrustz thing. it doesn't launch monsters or projectiles that hit it. i want it to do that like it does in d2dm2 and d2dm6.

download 1 of the 3 above, or all 3, and IDE or doomseeker. then it's all self explanatory -
also, doom doesn't require supergood hardware. in my business computer programming class, the teacher lets us play games. The uninitiated playing halo just watch it crawl along, but for the other 3 doomersand i doom is nice and speedy. and try making DECORATE mods with Halo!

where can i get copies of the skulltag textures and maps or how can i extract them from skulltag? I've looked inside skulltag.pk3 and skulltag-data.pk3. i see the texture lump, but not any patches. i don't see any map lumps or even THINGS,LINEDEFS,REJECT,etc. Where is it?

those flats i was looking for actually turned out to be in the doom2 wad. Heh heh heh. oh well there are some good textures and flats in the skulltag pk3 files.

hissy is supposed to be a cacodemon and massmouth is some wierd alien thing. in botinfo it uses the names hissy and massmouth. but since it can't find the skins, it uses base instead.

map 10 of doom 2, refueling base. find a bunch of demons, pull out your chainsaw, thinking it's going to be a piece of cake. revenants and pain elementals show up. you pull out a rocket launcher, and fight, then run into a room which has arachnotrons. you keep running in circles through 3 rooms. when there are just some demons and lost souls left, you pull out the chainsaw, kill the demons, and decide to go on this epic jousting match with lost souls. you kill them, then something gets off a lucky shot on you.

i think they are, but doom builder lets me use flats on sidedefs and textures on floors and ceilings (shrug).

I changed the extension to zip and opened it with xarchiver in linux and it worked. can anybody tell me which patches were used in the CONS1_1 and CONS1_7 textures?

there was no maps directory in either of the pk3 files.

hello there I've just created a hammer weapon. get it by using summon hammer or give hammer. I'm not gonna tell you what it does, but it's funny. enjoy!! http://wadhost.fathax.com/files/hammer.zip I know it works on Skulltag. anything else, you'll have to take your chances with. So how do you all like it?

yeah it doesn't work on bosses because they're immune to splash damage. the hammer uses A_Explode when it "hits". i'll look into different ways of dealing damage
