  1. I went to go to where my dad is buried yesterday, and my Uncle Seamus and Aunt Mary brought up quite a question. Since i'm a double citizen, [i was born in Ireland, moved to U.S. when I was about 2] I can move to Ireland. My uncle Seamus noticed a kind of pale feeling inside me, and that it was gone when I came here. He offered me a large plot of land next to his, that he has owned for a long time. My Aunt Mary would live with me, since she is selling her home. I would build a big house on it. I would not be a farmer, I would be a lawyer. Every day, I would go into the town of (do you think i would tell YOU?) and go about my business. My family back home doesn't want me to move, but I must. And I will. I will, however, keep writing to you, via my laptop.

    Yours Truly,
    Michael

  2. If you could sum up the Beta Videos into one powerful word, what would it be?

This is for a survey dee-lee I am conducting. :D

Take part and you just might get a free cookie!

    Just might! :D

Hopefully by the morning comes, which is about five hours. :D

  3. Yes, an armed robbery took place at a pharmacy literally 200 feet from my house. Holy fuck. There are cops all roaming about and there is currently a sniffing dog in the building across the street, as well as a cop outside and one with a shotgun. I hope they catch the bastard.

UPDATE : The dumbass only stole 2 bottles of Oxycontin and he is known in this community, his name has already surfaced and he is now being pursued with direction. He's fucked.

  4. so i have the idea, but i'm not finding a lot of motivation in myself to make my wad. I guess i'm too lazy to make it or something, it's summer, so i should have plenty of time to make at least 10 levels of it. sigh...

is that an impressive ammount to accumulate in a 2 year span? It seems pretty normal to me.

  9. So this weekend has been really boring for the most part. Today I woke up at 10. I figured Brent had shown up or something but instead my mom wanted to know if I was running with her and my sister with my grandparents to Osceola. I said sure whatever. I didn't bother to change except for my shirt and as far as I was concerned I was ready. I took my laptop and headphones and watched my Dream Theater dvd on the way there. The place was quite boring and all around a waste of time. I went to Walmart again earlier, making that the 3rd time since I got paid. I picked up dvds of Vanilla Sky, Office Space, and Superstar, as well as a wireless AIM msging thing that was on sale for $25. I also picked up some new socks. Next time I get paid I'm going to see if my uncle wants to run to joplin the following Monday instead of the Monday where the coming Friday I get paid (next Monday, so the Monday after instead). I'll spend it on college stuff exclusivly. I didn't have enough to cover the $200 deposit because I started and only got a week's pay (When you consider I made $176.00 being there for only 6 hours instead of 8 for five days out of a week that's pretty damn good for Missouri). That means my next check will be for a LOT more, it'll be for three weeks. Before the cheapass government takes money out of my check, I'll have $630 on my next check, which I'll get June 10th. After that I'll have one more full paycheck on June 24th, which will be for around $560, and then finally a half a check the last week of work before I go to Chicago which will be for around $280.

List of things I need to do before I go to Chicago:

    -$200 Deposit (with next paycheck)
-New shoes (will spend no more than $40)
-New canvas messenger bag (I find these very conveniant, there's this Linkin Park bag I'd like to get, rip all the patches off or sew over with something, and dye black. Fucking Linkin Park shit desecrates it.)
-Atleast 3 other new shirts *aka clothes for college*
    -Some new pants.
-Plane ticket should I need it (only around $75 for a one-way ride there, non-stop, amazingly, I thought it'd be atleast over $100)
    -Cellphone ($20-$80)
-Insurance on jeep at the end of June ($20)

Extra crap I want to buy but doesn't necissarily mean I will:

    -Tweaker's "2 a.m. Wake-Up Call" cd ($10)
-Tweaker's "The Attraction to All Things Uncertain" cd ($10)
    -Dream Theater's "Images & Words" cd ($10)
    -ATHF Vol 1 & 2 (~$20 each)
    -Invader Zim Vol. 2 & 3 ($10 each)

Right now I'm talking to Coleman about me, him, Jackie who'll be with Coleman at the time, and perhaps Tristan all taking a roadtrip to Chicago when it comes time for me to move. Coleman is really experienced at driving long distances, and to be honest I'm scared to death of airplane rides. I've never even been on one but jesus it scares the shit out of me. On top of that, I want to spend some time with them all before I probably hardly ever see them again if ever, and I'd get to meet Jackie, too. He said he'd definitely beable to let me know two weeks in advance to when it's being planned out, so if it doesn't work out I'll beable to plan an airplane ride and I'll have time to get some suitcases.

  11. My old man was always getting me crappy games when I was a kid, because only his work had the internet back in the early 90's. Most of them were educational, but they were my first games. some ones I still reminisce about include:

    Math Rescue
    Word Rescue
    Skunny Kart
    Elf Land
    Halloween Harry
    Pickle Wars
    Treasure Fucking MathStorm

And of course all the old Id Games. Wolf3d, Commander Keen 1-6, doom, etc.

I didn't have an SNES back then, or even an NES, so that explains my crappy early games. Getting all nostalgic and emo here.

Anybody else play some of my selections above?

Yes, that was the actual title of the game. I tell you that is one bizarre marketing move when dealing with the child demographic.

  16. Yesterday, I woke up to discover a package in the mail.

I, confused and half asleep, open said package. A giant, black box with the NIN logo emblazoned atop is inside.

    "OMG!!!"

I read the enclosed letter, which informs me that trent reznor has selected people from the NIN mailing list to recive this complimentary vinyl box, special edition 1697 of 2000.

    I never win anything.

    I'm like, "RAWR! FREEBIES!!!"

And I pick up the box, and it is light. And with trembling hands, I open the box.

Trent Reznor sent me an empty fucking box.

Rereading the cover note, I discover that the competiton was not for a box with vinyl, but just a fucking box that you can store vinyl inside of.

An empty box, with a cover note explaining how I can fill it with Interscope Products and magically improve my life. Their part of the bargain is sealed by sending me a cheap, bashed 9" pizza box with the NIN logo on it. All I need do is spend rakes of money on their wonderful, pope-blessed vinyl to fill it with.

I might see if I can get trent to autograph my Empty Fucking Box when he hits glasgow in July.

  18. After recently having a conversation with my friend Laura, I have realized that my primary purpose in life is to help and protect the loved ones around me whether it be friends or family members. She trusts me in all honesty and feels that it is my purpose and goal in life, and knows that I will always be there for her. I don't even know why I posted this, I'm just in a good mood since my girlfriend recieved news she was able to go back to school tomorrow.

  19. I took some time to make a 36x36 version of this. It's about 6k on my disk... I actually could've made it much smaller, as it still looks OK with a much-reduced palette. The avatar I have is fine; I'm just submitting it for inclusion in the large amount of default avatars.

  20. This is a personal thought, so please beware before you read.

I Enjoy the fact that they decided to expand there horizons to many other players. Doom can now be experienced by other gamers besides the PC world. Doom once Existed on 64, but was not a huge hit. Very sad!

Even though things have been taken out, rerouted, and somewhat re-designed. It still keeps some of that scary feeling. I myself am not a huge PC gamer, but many of my friends are. I do play, but not as much as most. This allows me to understand the love they have found in this game.Even though the graphics are much better on PC,and a few other choice things that could be named, but I am sure you know what they are.

Doom 3 on Xbox reaches out to the new generation of kids. This also allows Pc and Console gamers to interact with a mutual understanding and compassion. And for this I am grateful.

  21. In all of my stupidity I agreed to let my friends shock my testicles with a cattle prod on film. With my limited knowledge of these kinds of devices I'm wondering two things: 1.) How much this is going to hurt and 2.) If there's potential for permenant damge. If there'll be some kind of permenant damage than I want no part of it. I've been told that it's only 8 volts, which strikes me as odd because I'd figure that it's be more like 10 to 20 thousand volts. Anyone have any advice for me, as far as whether or not this is a potentially life-threatening venture? Particularily people who have knowledge about cattle prods.

Do you want to know why I love it? CLONES. That's right, I've created hundreds upon hundreds of Ralphis clones. Our mission? To create the best worst alcapella group ever. And with this, we bring to you Ralphcapella.

    Here are our current songs:
