    id Anthology

The one in my set is an XL. I'm not sure if they are all like that or not since my version didn't have the fixed version of Final Doom. I would assume they are all different? Although being sealed that long will have it's downsides.

Fresh Sandy Petersen interview... about Doom!

I don't know, but the narrator sounds like the GrezzoGuy. He should dub an English version of him.

Most unusual use of D_BUNNY I've seen

I know. I used to make them too. I'm completely embarrassed by them now.

Most unusual use of D_BUNNY I've seen

This video is almost as embarrassing as the shit I used to make. But then again, this thread did give me an idea for a sprite.

    Did you like Doom RPG?

Yeah, I remember playing Doom RPG on my old phone back in 2009, along with some God of War sidescroller. Good stuff.
  10. That's totally fine. I actually made that project hoping it would be used as a sprite resource for all the custom rotations I made and for the others that I gathered from all over the web. Also, Wolfenstein people can benefit from it too. Thanks for the compliment, Bruce.
  11. My sprite fixing project for Wolfenstein 3d.
  12. I actually updated those SS pain rotations since then to make their legs look more bent, as suggested by the generous input I received from over there. This project was more than enough inspiration to finalize them and make them more proper looking.
  13. I have a little bit more art to share. I made these pain rotations for the SS since he doesn't have any. I included the front angle in the png for comparison. Since you're using custom rotations for the SS's attack, you're free to use these too if you want. All they need is to be converted to Doom's palette (they're in Wolfenstein's palette right now). I also had concern about another fix SSWVN0, where you removed some of the gore chunks around the green. What I would've done for that is just delete the green pixels on the outside and leave the gore chunk be.
  14. I know Marphy has been on the lookout for these sprites for a while, so I know he's definitely going to add them. I'm just afraid that we might have run him off over the Lost Soul thing.
  15. Here are some resources you can use that I made: Shadowless, cropped Wolfenstein sprites(It's the one called "no shadows" in the zip) that are from a sprite fixing project I'm working on for Wolfenstein 3D. Also I made the shadows for all the hanging sprites into separate sprites, so you're not limited to 64 pixel tall ceilings for certain decorations. http://www.mediafire.com/download/1mdnh80mti8c60a/Wolf3d_Spritefix_for_ECWolf.zip I also have all the AdLib Sounds from Wolfenstein 3d and Spear of Destiny: http://www.mediafire.com/download/6hzjvisrtmskeem/Wolf3d_Adlib_in_WAV.zip

    Thoughts on PS3 Doom

I thought it was annoying the surround sound was backwards on the PS3 port. The front and back channels are reversed. Basically, when an enemy is in front of you, you hear them from behind. Unfortunately, it hasn't been fixed to this day. Doom 3 didn't seem to have that problem, though.
  17. If I was working on Doom as a sprite artist, I'm not going to waste time and just get what actually does need fixing done. The same could be applied here. Why change something that pretty much everyone has grown used to. People don't like change.
  18. edit: removed test map since no longer relevant.
  19. Lol. I was actually going to do the same thing, believe it or not. Except i was going to try to ask Adrian Carmack, if possible.
  20. Version without flickering. You were right, Revenant100. It does look better.
  21. Exactly what I was thinking. Which is why I left it alone in my version. Although I do take into account the fact it might have been unintentional, as demonstrated by the Baron's flickering hooves, and if need be I can make a version without the flickering. Edit: Looks like the other rotations don't have that flicker. I guess I have no choice now.
  22. They were not made to look that way just for the sake of wild, out of control sprite fixing like I've seen in the past, let's be clear on that. The "after" sprites that he ended up using in this were from the pre-1.666 versions of Doom. Fortunately, the only sprites that seemed to be affected by that change are the two front sprites. Every other Lost Soul sprites in both the old and new versions of Doom and this mod are exactly the same. I had an old version of Doom handy to compare both versions sprites and make sure. Compare the other Lost Soul rotations to the before and after gif below and see which frontal frame looks more logical. That being said, I do agree that the pre-1.666 version doesn't look as good as the 1.9 version. Pre-1.666's sprites are a bit too symmetrical in the facial area, which can be a bit off putting. (I'm sure that's why id changed it in the first place), but the 1.9 version has a jittering effect on the skull and horns, which doesn't look good either. So I've combined both versions together to create a version that will hopefully combine the positive features from both versions. Version without flickering. I have a pretty good idea on what I'm doing, being a graphic design major and working on my own sprite fixing project for Wolfenstein 3d.

    Music the plutonia way

As long as its not the default midi for that specific mapslot, then it doesn't bother me.

    Is Doom GBA worth it?

If it was 2003, you never played Doom in your life, and you didn't have a proper computer to play it on, I'd say it'd be worth it, but since I'm sure that's not the case, then I guess not. (I say this from experience)
