    There's a day brightener.

This may have saved my bracket, but Castlevania still needs to beat KH and MGS, then FF needs to beat Zelda, and then the $400 is MINE!

I don't understand how a game like that could work the same on both Cube and Wii. The GameCube has what, 11 more buttons than the Wii?

Incidentally, would it be the first time that a major video game is simultaneously released on two separate generations of the same brand of consoles (GameCube and Wii)?

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 was released on PS1 and PS2 at the same time (although according to GameFAQs the release dates were a day apart).

Back in the olden days, when 16-bit consoles were £200 and you where either Sonic or Mario, Sega would often release games for the Master System and Megadrive at the same time, sometimes the Master System version would be the same game with less colours and low-quality sound, but often it would be a totally different game with the same theme (see the Sonic Games, if you ask me the Master System sonic games were done better, they had a map showing your progress and interesting levels, they were generally much harder than thier Megadrive counterparts though) and the releases usually happened together or within days of each other.
