No. nice try.
-
Close, but no cigar. Nice try though

An honorable mention is the Wendigo. While very cool looking. They are a pain in the ass in groups. Especially with the Fighter on Titan difficulty in the secret ice area in Guardian of Steel.

Here's one for Doom 64 Your worst nightmare. At the end of this level Hell Knights and Barons of Hell Bar your way from your exit. What lies beyond will be even simpler.

What i am saying is in 1995 when we met him for the first time no regular gamer knew how to successfully kill him. You don't seem to care about the time period this game came out. But granted Korax was a big letdown.

The Heresiarch is awesome! He may be a wimp nowadays, but back then he was very hard.
-
Favorite Heretic monster: Ophidian, not much to say about him other than he kicks ass. Favorite Hexen monster: Reiver, annoying yet cool looking. The design is brilliant. Scared the shit out of me as a kid.

Yeah I play DOS (or Vanilla) Doom and I tried to chainsaw acrachnotrons quite a few times and it doesn't even damage it.
-
What about Doom 64's double chainsaw. It does an extreme amount of damage and it is probably impossible for a demon to bite you while chainsawing it.
-
I would play every Doom port except SNES, 3D0, and Saturn. SNES - Horrible graphics and buggy as hell. Just why? 3D0 - It had better graphics than the Jaguar version but at the cost of smooth framerate. Saturn - So much potential. But Rage Software fucked it up. Horrible framerate, no light sourcing, less tracks, more pixelated.

I wouldn't be lying if I said his Doom 64 soundtrack scared the shit out of me as a kid. It fits perfectly with Doom 64. My favorite Aubrey Hodges track is Final Outpost. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HC0O80qi6V8 My favorite Bobby Prince track is Donna to the Rescue http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bg_5MEuDVLs

You are right. It all just comes down to what kind of music you like better. Rock tunes or Ambient tunes.
-
Personally I liked Prince's score better. Now granted I liked Hodges score and I also like ambient music. But Hodges score just didn't have that sort of spirit that Prince's score had. Prince's score gave me an attitude. It made me wanna run out there and pump shells into fucking monsters. I didn't exactly find that in Hodges score. What do you guys think?
