I finally got a wireless card and access point for my laptop, so now I can poop and browse the forums at the same time!!
In fact right now I'm not even inside my house!!! AMAZING!!!!
All for $44 (including shipping). God bless ebay.
Outside is pretty overrated though... there're lots of bugs out here, and it's getting kinda dark and I'll probably get cold soon since I'm not wearing any shoes or socks. Hey look, a rabbit! Weird.

i love wireless for my laptops, dont use it for the desktops. still get more speed.
however be warned of 2.4Ghz phones, if you got a 2.4ghz network. i havnt had an issues with my phone at all, but the lady across the street always gets cut off the internet when she uses it, yes she has broadband and a wireless network.
however that could be the fact that she has 2, 2.4Ghz transmitters/recievers within 5 feet of each other. also if you have both set to channel 1 or the same channel that might do it. i am too lazy to dick with it to see how to get the phone to kill the connection.
i hate what my brother does
uses his laptop in the shitter, but then jumps in the shower. a long shower, with hot water. i dont think laptops should be exposed to 100% humidity. oh wait they aren't thats why it died. - Show next comments 3 more
